....."Red ... The dark ones have left you a message."Syno says to me.

"What?...What does it say?" I ask surprised.

"I have not read it...here" Syno says handing me a note.

"Uhh .. ok" I say taking it and opening it.

it reads ....

"La'beka,I wish to meet with you. I may some info to help you defeat the Kitin lords. I am a spy amongst them.Please meet with me south east of Fairhaven east of the portal to Enchanted isle_Alone_ If you wish to recieve the info I have.

I will be awaiting your arival at 18h on Holeth."


"hmmm" I say after reading it ... I then tell Syno what it said.

"Its very likely this is a trap Red" He says looking at me.

"Yeah but if its not can we pass up a chance like this?"I ask looking at the note.

"hmm,I do not think this is a good idea."Syno says.

I look over at the others ... "Anything that could make it easier on them" I say as I look at the note again... "Is worth a shot...It is most likely a trap .. But ill be ready..."I say smiling.

"Huh? what do you have planed?"Syno says confused.

"You can port us" I say smiling.

"Ahh I get it ... You go and if its a trap port the others to you" Syno says.

"Yeah,What do you think?" I ask.

"Yes,Will work they can block what we can see and who we can find but they can't block where we can port."Syno says with a grin."And since we will know where you are... It is a good plan."

"Lets inform the others Holeth is only a few days away"I say as I head back to the others.......

I was lost, I had no emotions, no focus, no strenght, it was like I was dead. I just hugged my brother harder, but it didn't help. What was done was done and if Jen'Moda falls then........Windra takes her place. I cried for help but I had no voice. What was I going to do if Windra died, keep on living...how!?

"Aqua why do you cry?" Two voices as from behind me.

"My own brother, gave his life....why!?" I tried to scream.

"Windra is protecting my daughter, Aqua touch her hand and you'll know why Windra did what he did." A sweet voice told me.

So I did, tho I'm not sure how, but I found her hand. I bolt shock through me, it was a feeling, a feeling that I knew from so long ago. It was the feeling of a mother and her child, but how?

"I don't understand, why do I feel this bond, she not my daughter?" I cried into my brother robe.

"She is your daughter as well, the guardians are a family, each of you are bond to each other. If one suffer's you feel their pain and understand why. It's the bond of a family Aqua." The sweet voice said.

"Windra was meant to protect Jen'Moda, he may not seem like it, but when he is truely needed he becomes a god. This goes for all the guardians.

"There will be many challenges in your life, this is one and you must over come it." A deep voice said.

I touch grabbed Jen'Moda's hand and felt for her aura, it was pure and kind, why did I worry about this so much.

"Open your eye's Aqua the other need you as does Red, besides Windra doesn't fall until he gives ever thing he can." One of the first voices said, it was a womans and it was as sweet and kind as the third voice, but more powerful.

The voices vanished as my sight, emotions, and strenght returned. Windra was crying on my shoulder, he kept saying "I'm sorry."

"Brother shut up, Jen'Moda is my daughter as well, she is a daughter to all of us. The guardians are a family and we protect each other one way or another." I said as I pulled my self free from my brother grip and hugged Jen'Moda.

"I'm sorry, I forgot we are a family and as a family we stand strong no matter what happens." I said as I hugged her.

"It's ok, I think we all forgot we're a family." Jen'Moda told Aqua with a hug.

"Everyone come here I have news!" Red yelled.

We looked at each other and smiled, we were a family through the good times and the bad. Cin'Lone and Le'Conda helped us to our feet as Utasi helped Windra to his feet. We said our goodbyes to Utasi and ran to see what the news was.

I told everyone what the plan was and we set it in motion.Holeth was only 1 day away now so I told everyone we better rest ... so we return to the temple for the night ... the next day we spent some time preparing.Aqua walked over to me once I got by myself and asked."Red ... What if something goes wrong?"

I look at her and smile "I can take care of myself."

"But... I don't want you to get hurt Red." she says looking into my eyes.she could see that I was worried.

"I promise i'll be careful." I say to her trying to sound confident.

"You better Red." She says as she hugs me. I hug her back.

"I better get going" I say still hugging her.

"Yeah you don't want to be late" She says with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry Aqua......I...I love you" I say as I start to leave.

"Red I .. I love you too, be careful." She says trying not to cry.

"I will" I say smiling,Then I walk out.

"Aqua, He will be ok.Red can take care of himself." Windra says as he hugs Aqua.she just hugs him back.

"I have a bad feeling about this plan Win." Aqua says as she hugs him tighter.

A few hours later I arive at the spot I was told to..."Ah there you are La'beka" A voice says from my left.I turn to face him ... he looks like any other dark one ...

"Well I am here,What news do you have?"I ask.But I have a strange feeling in my stomach like something is out of place.

"Well first of La'beka lets teleport shall we? you shouldn't mind that unless you plotted against me"he says smiling.

"Oh crap. What now" I think to myself ... "Why this is as good a spot as any."I say.

"If you don't want the info then I will just leave La'beka." He says as he turns away.

"....Fine lets go" I say knowing that this is not the best idea.

"Meet me in lagoons of loria then La'beka." He says as he ports. I pull out my ticket to loria ... I stare at it a moment then tear it. A moment later im in loria... "now follow me La'beka" he says as he leads me to a remote area.

I follow ... as we arive he says.... "Well La'beka that was easier then I had expected." then laughs.

"I figured as much." I said drawing my sword.

"If you knew,you're really are a fool for coming."he said laughing.

"What exactly do you want?" I ask him.

"You to die,Thats all.Is that to much to ask ?" he ask's laughing.

"Yeah it is." I say as my sword turns into the sword of Atys and I transform.

"Ahh good atleast you should keep me amused for alittle bit." He says laughing. "Oh and La'beka .. When your friends port to where we were there is a nice ambush waiting for them" He says laughing loudly.

"What! NO." I shout.

"Yes La'beka,And you won't be alive much longer so don't worry about it" He says drawing his blade.."Prepare to die!" he says as he charges me.

"You will never defeat me!" I shout as our blades meet and a shockwave is sent out in all directions.........

Mean while back at the temple I was scanning the books and scrolls to see if there was any information that could help us. I kept having second thoughts on the spell a cast on me and Jen'Moda. Then I found a book that was labled The Truth of the Forbidined spells.

I placed it on the table and search the index for the "Bond of One Soul" spell. I found it in spells of Love and Family. Just as I turned the page my hand began to burned as if it was on fire.

"Windra, Red he's in trouble!" Le'Sindo shouted as he appeard in front of the table.

"That must be why my hand is burning." I said as I pulled off my left glove, my symbol was glowing brightly.

I quickly left the room and ran staight for the meeting room, empty, I then ran to the garden. By the time I reach the door, everyone was already behind me as I opend it.

"We know, we told him this was a trap." The Kami and Karavan sighed.

"If we follow him who knows what will happen, but when need to get Red." Jen'Moda said.

"What do we do?" Le'Conda asked.

"If we split up then we'll fall....argh there no way to get to him, they've planned this well." I said as I walked around in a circle.

"Jen and I are the quickest and the best trackers, Windra you are the best in magic as is Aqua....I have an idea." Le'Conda said.

"Go on." Everyone said.

"Jen and I go after Red with you two helping us." She said pointing at Syno and Tin-si.

"Windra, Aqua go to Enchated Isle and delay the Dark Ones. Hold them off as long as possible, we'll find Red, the spirits of Lagoon can tell me where he is." Le'Conda explain.

Aqua and I transformed and fused with our spirits when Le'Conda finished.

"Good we're been studying greater spells and attacks, but if were out number which we will, we won't last long." Aqua said as she formed her water daggers.

"I'll wait her for your returned." Cin'Lone said as she appeared at the garden door. We nodded.

"Windra remember if you are ever disarmed or need more power use the elements." Syno said as Aqua and I vanished.

"What did she mean?' Aqua asked as we landed.

"I can fuse the elements into my pike and my fist,they're here." I said then scanned the area.

"Here." Aqua said as she handed me a scroll.

"Undo the seal when I say so." Aqua whispered as he handed me a scroll.

"Only two, where are the others." Four Dark Ones appeared in a puff of black mist.

"Now!" Aqua boomed.

The second we undid the scrolls they flew from our hands and formed a circle around us and the Dark Ones, they then formed a wall of green light.

"What is this?!" The Dark ones boomed.

"A seal, no way in or out, and of course no way to connect anyone, this is our dual to the death." Aqua said as she charged the two dark ones behind me.

"Your ambush failed, now it's our turn." I boomed as I charged the last two Dark Ones.

Mean while in Lagoons of Loria, Jen'Moda, Le'Conda, Syno and Tin-si were running towards the sense of darkness.

While Te'Haï, Le'Cusï, Le'Daï, Ra'oki and Cin'Lone wait for us to return.

"Dear Banestar, do not feel sadness. He is doing well I know that he is."
Drakfot said in a soothing voice to Banestar as they both traveled through the
waters safely on the backs of their mounts.

They had just left Fairhaven by taking a short right by the gates, past the
Outpost merchants and trainers, the same way the messenger had come earlier.
They had set Windemeer as their destination in order to find more about where
Redslayer and his friends could be found. Even though there had been so much
blood, deep jacks in the bridge and signs of a fierce battle the place did not
hold the aura orf death. But being there would make many feel uncomfortable. But
also the inqueries had led to that no one knew the whereabouts of the wounded.
But many had seen the battle in some way.

Now they were slowly moving through the waters by the aid of their mounts whom
just seemed to continue to swim forward wthouth any doubts.
Though Banestar's mount somehow must have felt that she was not as focused as
she used to be, she did not steer him well. So it got a bit confused and tried
to look around and then quickly lowered its head so it was almost under the
water surface leaving only the trunk above. It surprised Banestar being dragged
forward so quickly so that she woke up from the trance she had found herself in.

"Yaah." She said surprised as she mount's head moved and came back again, she
almost fell off but found Drakfot's arm next to her which she grabbed for
support.

"How are you?" Drakfot asked as she noticed how Banestar almost fell off her
mount into the water.

"I.. I am worried that is all. I don't know what to think or what to do
anymore." She replied as she got herself back on in the saddle.

"I see, and yes you have gone through so much lately. You must feel such pain
and worries that I cannot grasp. Yet I am here for you my friend." Drakfot said
as she tried to calm Banestar. Even just to stand beside seeing her friend
suffer had been hard, then to imagine the pain she, Banestar, had was impossible
for Drakfot.

"but.. I cannot continue like this can I.." She asked Drakfot whom looked at her
wondering what she was talking about. "I.. I mean, I must know how he is doing.
And in order to know I have to find him right?"

"Yes, that is what we are to do now my friend, to find your son." Drakfot
replied calmly. " And we will find him, I hold no doubts of this."

Banestar looked up from the water and stared forward into the horixon ahead. She
grabbed the saddle holder and urged her mount to move a little faster. It seemed
as this was what it had been waiting for as it started to swim a little faster.
It's friend and master was once again back in the saddle, as it should be.
They rounded Fairhaven and reached the small beach rather soon and from there
they moved northeast on order to find the gap in the cliffs leading to
Windemeer.

They were running past some cloppers whom took note of their presence though
they were to slow to even get to them in time as they rode by. They were not far
off the shore which lead to Windemeer. Soon the palms swept by them as ther rode
through the ruins and set their course to the town. And soon the windmwill near
the Karavan Teleporter appeared in the distant as the shapes of the town
Windemeer showed themselves as they rode nearer.

"Are you guardians crazy, sealing youreselves in like this?" The Dark Ones asked as their weapons met ours.

"Watch it, we not as we were." I said as I slammed my fist into his heavy armor, it shattered and left a hole.

"How did you smash through mt armor!?" He yelled as he did a blade spin.

"I can transfere any element or spell to my hand." I said as I showed him my hand overed in vines and moss.

"So what these weapons will slice through your medium armor like a knife on parchment." A dark one said as she snuck up behind me.

"Oh, I forgot we were wearing this armor, thank you." I smiled as I dodge her attack.

"You wench!" A Dark One cried from behind me. With a quick glance I saw Aqua had cut one of her Dark Ones face.

"Aqua do you have a plan?" I asked as I ran to the cavern wall.

"No......do you?" Aqua asked me back as he parried another attack.

"We either stop these four, die, or wait till the other find Red." I said as I cast a blind spell on my Dark Ones.

"Gawh!" My Dark Ones cried when they lost their sight.

"Death....hahaha we'll make the sands of all you cities run red with your blood." Aqua's Dark Ones laughed.

We said nothing, I thought I had the prefect chance to stop mine but some how they block my attacks. As they regained their sight I fused posion with my wind pike. Posion quick spread through out of area, luckly the circle contained it.

"Aqua now, the spell won't affect another guardian!" I boomed as I was slammed to the ground.

Aqua quickly ducked under the Dark Ones as she slid her daggers their armor and headed for mine. As soon as I saw Aqua I placed my hands on the ground and chanted a wind spell.

Just as Aqua was about to placed her daggers against their armor she stopped and waited for me to finished my spell. I said the said the final charm and the Dark Ones flew off me and up into the air. Aqua quickly stabbed their armor as they were launched off me.

We quickly ran to the side of the caveren and watch the Dark Ones fell to the ground.

They stayed on the ground for a bit then snickerd. All of them got to their feet looked at eachother's armor and laughed.

"You fools you didn't even scratch our armor." They laughed.

I looked at Aqua as I called my pike back to me, she was grinning too. She then snapped her fingers and said "Orson" There was a faint cracking noise then their armor chest plates were in two pieces. The lower part slide down their legs and hit the sand. Where the armor once was was now a dark cloth shirt.

They stepped out of their armor around their legs and picked up their weapons. Now they were ticked off,

"Nice try but we're still standing." They told us.

"So are we and it will take a lot more then your simple tricks to stop us." Aqua and I both said as we got ready for the next duel.

...."hmm it seems your friends are headed for us" The dark one said as he jumped backwards away from me."They will never reach us" He said laughing loudly as a energy wall formed all the way around us.(about 150m from the middle to the side(300m wide))

"What the?" I ask looking around.

"HAHAHAHA did you think I did not plan for this?" He says as he points outside the wall at 10 dark ones waiting for my friends.

"No! You will not win!" I shout as I charge him.

He blocks but I jump over him and go to stab him. He jumps up and kicks me in my face. I stumble back but regain my balance as he tries to slash me,I parry the blow and jump back... I launch a blast at him but he disapears... he re-apears behind me..."heh,You can do better La'beka" he says as he goes to stab me... I side step it.."You wont win!" I shout as I swing my blade at him...But he disapears again...

"Bah... Hols still coward." I say annoyed.

He just laughs,as he apears behind me and blast me.I try to parry it but it blast me backwards... He jumps up and comes down towards me with his blade ... I make a shield of fire in front of me,He hits it and is thrown 15m thru the air and lands on his feet...

"Oh thats a new one La'beka" he says as he attacks again.This time his sword cuts thru my shield.I roll out of the way as his sword cuts deep into the ground... I get up quickly and try to slash him but again he disapears...

But this time... I launch a full powered blast as he re-apears... "AAAHH" He yells as the blast pushes him backwards into a cliff wall... As he hits the wall the blast explodes...... "not bad La'beka" he says as he gets back onto his feet,His armor was heavily damaged and falling apart..."Time to step it up alittle I guess" He says as he draws out two 1h swords ...one in each hand..both were black with a curve in the middle of the blade....

"Time to die La'beka" He says calmly as he faces me ........

"Aqua we're out numbered, we need to do something." I told Aqua knowing the battle was trurning worse.

"Aye but what can we do, we're not fighters were mages." She told me.

With no scrolls or ideas we decided we would have to just fight.

Mean while in Lagoons of Loria.

"That wasn't any basic aura, we have to hurry." Jen'Moda said as a shiver traveled up her spine.

"Look the creatures are running from something." Le'Conda said as a herd of arma ran past them.

"Come on!" Jen'Moda shouted as she ran off from where the arma came from.

"There is an aura of extreme strenght come from this area." Syno said as scanned the area while she ran.

"Argh." I cried as I was throw against the sand.

"Come on Windra this is our home, our element, there must be something you can do." Le'Sindo as from inside me.

I quickly jumped to my feet and dodged and parried all the Dark Ones attacks as fast as wind.

"Aqua you have to become our elements, swiftness is the key." I said as I kicked a Dark One against the caveren wall.

"Aye." She said as she slid in and out of attacks till we were back against back.

"Ready?" I asked as I fused electric energy into my pike.

"Ready." Aqua replied as she tightened her grip on her Water Daggers.

We then clashed weapons with the Dark Ones.

After the clashed we jumped back to the side of the caveren, the Dark Ones then vanished. We kept our ground as we waited for them to return.

"You're not very fun, I thought a theif like you would be more fun." A female voice snickered.

I said nothing, but I will admit the theif part stuck a nerve.


"A sage and a theif, haha this so funny and sad." The same voice laughed.

"I gave that up a long time ago!" I snapped.

"A theif is a theif no matter what he or she does later in life." A male voice said.

"I did what I had to do." I snapped.

"By stealing goods from merchants, robbing them blind, using magic to steal food." Another male voice laughed.

"I had to." I said.

"Windra don't listen." Aqua whispered in my ear.

"The people of FairHaven would of helped you." Another female voice said.

"They wouldn't understand what I could do." I whimpered.

"You mean destory." One of the voices said.

"No.....control the wind, read it, be as fast as it." I said. They were bringing back memories I never wanted to think of.

"You're right, you weren't normal, that why we were alone." The voices laughed.

"Hold your tongues, he was never alone, my parnets died to save us, and Jena and the Karavan were always at his side." Aqua boomed as she grabbed my hands.

"Really then why didn't anyone help him?" The voices asked.

"No one knew how, so the Karavan called on the Silt. They are extremely close friends to our family. They have been allies of the Guardians for generations." Aqua explained.

I ran my hand over my tattoos and remember they way they trained and treatied me. I was like kin to them and I guess I was.

I let go of Aqua's hand and walked over to the caveren wall and sent wave after wave of wind up it. The Dark Ones quickly jumped to the ground. With a flash of wind I was behind a female dark one as she fell to the sand dead.

"You're right I am a theif and theives don't play fair." I said with a grin as the dark one that fell vanished.

"Windra?" Aqua asked in a surprised voice.

"Aqua I was a theif after you left and I know you were one as well. We stole yes but only food and clothes, nothing of true value. We did what we had to. I was ashamed of what I did but now I know what I did made me strong. This isn't a even battle so let the theif in you take control." I explained as I flashed back to Aqua's side.

"I will let your theif inside take over for now." Le'Sinta said as she let another being take her place.

"Ok you want to play unfairly...ok die!" The Drak Ones cried as they ran at us full charge.

"We're ready." Aqua and I said.

....He charges at me and swings... I try to block but he knocks the sword out of my hands and I fall to the ground ... "Ha ... that was too easy" He says as he raises his blade to finnish me."Its not over!" I shout as I come up with a uppercut to his stomach ... my fist surrounded with fire... "Whats this?" he says as he flies backwards 18 meters.. the smoke clears and he charges at me again...

"DIE!!!" He shouts.

"NEVER!!!" I shout back as I form a wall of ice between us.

"oh...Nice move La'beka." he says as he tries to cut thrugh it but fails.I take the momentary break in battle to think about my next move...

"HIIYAAA!!!!!" HE shouts as he breaks thru my ice shield."Wha???" he says as he stumbles forward ...

"Fool." I say as I blast him in his face with my dragon blast.he falls to the ground......I stand up and look at him.... "Arg..." He says as he slowly gets up onto one knee. "You're finnished." I say.

"No ... bah ... you havn't won." He says as he tries to stand but fails.

"Its over." I say as I form my pike in my hands.As he sees my pike his eyes grow wide."No... how ..." He says quietly. I walk up to him ..."farewell" I say as I stab him with my pike ... He falls on his back ... "Its not over...." He says as he coughs up blood,then dies.

"La'beka ... good job" A voice says from behind me..

"Hmmm?" I say as I turn to see a darkone dressed in a black and dark blue armor.

"My name is General Gen-Laï, Kin-daï sent me to make sure you die."Gen-Laï says as he draws a dark blue pike with wich seemed to glow with energy... "Time to die La'beka,your fight ends here" he says as he prepares to battle.

"We'll see about that" I say as I get into my fighting stance.out of the corner of my eye I see Jen'moda arrive with Syno, Le'Conda and Tin-si..

"Red!" Syno shouts as he examines the wall between us.

Le'conda,Tin-si and Jen'Moda face the 10 dark ones waiting for them.

"Red I cannot break this wall,Not without some time." Syno shouts as he looks at the dark ones near him.

"muhuhahaha... Are we really so lucky?" one of the dark ones say.

"Seems so,I can't believe the all mighty Syno would put himself in such a bad possition." Another Dark one says.

"Red! Be careful!"Syno shouts as he faces the dark one.

"You too!" I shout back...

"DIE!!!" Gen-Laï shouts as he charges towards me...."YAAA!!" He shouts as he swings his pike.....
