Clarification on unsubscribing

I just haven't yet seen a reply over if we'd have to pay another €50 (I highly doubt) or just resubscribe in which case the monthly price will do no? I dunno this just seems like when the yanks were complaining over the small monthly fee in hope it would get reduced (mostly school kids were wanting this) I'm just saying all these demands based on other game services and what you expected there does it really have to reply here? If I had to quit the game formore then 6months be it work or travel I probably wouldn't even come back something new would of caught my eye.

The way it reads is that the cd-key will no longer be valid. This would mean repurchasing the game to get a new cd-key in order to be able to play. (yes another £40 or whatever)

Something else may catch your eye if you were away for, say, 6 months. This game is intended to have an 8+ year plan, so others may see the situation differently.

Since there would be a system knowing you subscribed once maybe there could be a repurchase of a key (think countrerstrike) I would be happy with that. The having to order a new key repurcahse at a possible full price sounds abit unfair and I now see where your coming from.

Just a quick posting to let you guys know that we've passed your feedback regarding account reactivation on to Nevrax. We will be discussing the issue internally to determine if the reactivation period needs to be extended - no promises though. ;)

You may be wondering why we've decided to have such a limit in first place, especially since it's obviously in our best interest to keep accounts as long as possible.
The answer is simple: This is the period during which we _guarantee_ to keep inactive accounts alive. We _may_ keep them beyond the period of 90 days, but obviously we cannot guarantee to store them forever for legal reasons.

Lawrence, this may for sure be correct for storing personal data such as credit card information and the customers addresses.
But there is definately no law forcing NEVRAX to delete valid serial numbers from their databases after any given time.

So please tell us soon, that your company is not serious about that serial-expiration point!

Look Shaded, the CD-key is tied to your account. It does not "expire", it simply can only be used for one account. Once you use it during the registration process, you cannot use it to open another account. That's what this means. It is obviously necessary to prevent abuse and stated clearly in the EULA:

"This Contract allows you to use the procedure offered for registering your details to set up one (1) account enabling you to play Ryzom over the Internet."

Right, I am allowed to have one account for one serial number. That's ok and nothing's wrong about that.
You are legally forced to delete my account after 90 days of inactivity. That's ok and nothing's wrong about that.

From now on I don't have an account anymore but I still have a valid serial number that is not bound to any existant account, since it has been deleted.
So, creating a new account (one!) with my obtained valid serial number does not violate your EULA.
Claiming that it does is not ok and everything's wrong about that. Period.
