Homins I bring you a message from Ulyros who is investigating the recent foul murder of Stil Wyler. He wishes all information you may have on the black Circle tribe be posted here for his perusal.

Furthermore he requests some witnesses to a meeting he has arranged with Muang Hoi-Gi of that Tribe on Saturday 22nd April at 8pm Bst at Withered Stock on the first level. Witnesses have been requested by the Black Circle Tribe to ensure the safety of their delegate.

After the interview, there was a conversation between the homins who were still there. We suspect that the Marauders may actually have something to do with this (they may have contracted the assassin), as they seem to know things about certain materials on Atys, which others don't know of, and they seem to be against the current civilisation's leaders. And Muang is most likely under the influence of Goo.

Sergeant Ulyros has kindly supplied his report from the meeting and the interview with Muang Hoi-Gi:

Ulyros I'm Ulyros. It is my duty to bring the murderer of Still Wyler to Justice.

Muang Thats sweet of you. I am Muang Hoi-Gi... Genius. I suspect you have innumerable questions as no doubt does your little inquisition of deputies here.

Ulyros That is correct, You were seen at the treaty signing in Nexus, and witnesses have also identified the assassin as being of the Black Circle.

Muang Of course I was there, I simply wished to express my outrage at the clumsy attempts of the governments stifling independant minds and ways.

Ulyros It was reported that you had an incident with Grand Sage Mabreka Cho.

Muang The Cho dynasty's adopted son is blind and foolish, he needs reminding every now and then. And I would not consider him either 'Grand' or a 'Sage'.

Ulyros What is your opinion of the other leaders, in particular with Governor Still Wyler

Muang They are as blind in their own ways, all fail to see Goo for what it is. But I have no particular feelings for any of them, including the Late Mr. Wyler

Ulyros And what is your opinion of the Treaty signed?

Muang If you are a model citizen, it is delightful. If your faith is stronger than your commitment to your 'race' or you dislike the petty rules of these Governments then i'm afraid it is not so good.

Perhaps even the fundamental clauses to be used as an excuse to purge their nations of free thinking Homins and ideals... very bad, but you did ask my opinion.

Ulyros Tell me of the Black Circle and their aims and goals.

Muang We are a collection of like minded academics and scholars seeking wisdom about the Goo, how it may aid us and ultimately make us stronger for it. However we are not popular with the Kami... understandable if you knew the realtionship of Kami and Goo.

Ulyros The assassin was witnessed as a member of the Black Circle, Who are they and where are they. I must remind you that I have the authority from the Zora Government, to carry out thorough investigations toward the Black Circle should i feel it warrented.

Muang Your threat of 'violence' will provide no answers. We are as immortal as you are. So we do not fear death or intimidation. However to placate your thirst for secrets I will indulge you with a few ... hints.

The Assassin is a freelance, who has no loyalty except to themselves, and dappers or whatever reward they recieve. They bear the tribe name out of convenience as we have used their mastery of stealth on several occasions in the past. They are known to those who seek such individuals of expertise and discretion.

As to their current location... I do not know, but certainly not in the Black Circle's Camp nor are any of their possession and I will admit that the weapon is of great interest to ourselves and likely many others too.

Ulyros What do you know of the weapon?

Muang It kill Homins... intriging isn't it, a truly humbling weapon that may change atys forever. And to be quite truthful I desire it, so rest assured that I will try to acquire it regardless of any associations I have had in the past with the assassin. Ask me again if I acquire it.

Ulyros What do you know of Wormbreath and what is your relationship with him?

Muang He is a fat, coarse, drunk Matis, with an uncanny habit of acquiring information in a 'direct' fashion. I have acquired information from him in the past.

Ulyros What do Know of Oba and what is your relationship with him?

Muang Ahh Sage Oba, history never remembers what is the truth if the historians does not wish it. Sage Oba 'was' one of the sages and advisors in the old capital Zor before the great swarm. He was a fervent advocate of Jena as the supreme Kami, as was the faith of the Zoraï then, many regarded him as harsh and brutal in his methods against the Karavan and Goo.

Thus became a figure post exile of childhood scare tales. As the Hoi-Cho made Ma-Duk the head of the Faith, Oba was forgotten as a homin, remembered only as a monster.

The 'recent' Oba is not the same, though used the past for power not appreciating the present, so became the monster not the sage. the Cho adopted Son was successful after Fung-Tun to erase the History of Oba from the education of the Zoraï children when he siezed power. I suspect Oba will not be seen ever again. The legend is a spent force.

As for my relationship with Oba, I have never 'met' the new one, but I saw the old one devoured by Kitin, I almost wept.

Following the tour of Ulyros and Wormy, all I know more now is that Oba changed his name to Muang, an attack is planned on Mabreka at the event this evening, and Xalis had meetings with Oba and Black Circle
