This is a good tread :) ...now all we need is some ingame work and we can have the ryzom i loved so much back with some fun PvP added to it :)

This is what i want to see people working together to have fun ...As long as it keeps flowing in this derection I can come back and play and not have a 2nd thought about leaving for good :D ..

Signed Redslayer

P.S. im still on break and ill keep an eye on how things are going on the forums ...since for some crazy reason i decided to base my return on the forums even after all that flaming ..I knew i could have faith in you all and you came thru !!! I love this game and most of the players.I hope to see you all ingame when I return.

Well Put. The Forum attitudes of late (since EP2 IMHO) have driven me into the deep desert, walkabout, emerging only rarely to mingle with other Homins. If we can clean up the forums I'll be more inclined to interact with others.

This reminds of a thought I've been having and wanted to share: The forums are to the game what the newspapers are to real life. While they report on things that happen in real life, they don't report on everything and tend to reflect the more negative news. Stories of simple kindness and everyday beauty aren't newsworthy. Similarly, conversations about everyday life in Atys aren't forum worthy.

There's a lot of good and bad here in the forums. Sometimes, the bad seems overwhelming. But when I go into Atys, I don't see any near as much of that anger and hostility. Sure, some of it exists; but not in the same proportions.

If the newpapers reflected real life perfectly, I suspect the suicide rate would increase. The logical equivalent to suicide here is unsubbing. Please don't unsub just because of the forums, folks. The in game world really is more pleasant most of the time than the forums are.
