My thoughts on the KA

it is quite preposterous how this thread has gone ....I try to defend the KA (even if I don't agree)and my first to responses were not the nicest and shortly after it floated off topic to spies...

But keep going this is kinda holding my intrest but please try to keep it civil..

We have neither the means or the intention to spy on your private organization, nor have we conducted or endorsed any active spying anywhere in the past. Some people in your organization, people you were directly addressing, were genuinely appalled by what they saw and felt that it would be in the community's interest to know of the mentality that might come to dominate. You will never find out who blew the whistle, so perhaps keep your domination plan really private, or dare I politely suggest, adopt a playstyle wherein the rest of us are not meaningless to you...

We had an 'OPEN' forum. The fact that someone felt they could not post there is preposterous if they felt strongly against what was being said. Differeing opinions, and strongly differing opinions were shared there.

Scar did a much better job in stating it was about 80% good meaningful content and 20% that was off the wall. In several places in threads here in the past few days, folks have stated we used that space to blow off steam, and share thoughts before posting anything irrational here. If that can't be respected and not taken as hurtful, then I don't know what else you expect. Maybe you would not like people to think thoughts even though they could possibly be hurtful to someone. If that is the case, it seems you have a whole list of people to scold, not just folks in the KA.

I still can't get over the fact that someone in an High officer or leader position felt they could not talk there to the folks, or at least to their leader. I would have sworn I had heard from everyone over time, could very well be wrong though. The exact reason we have the forum is to discuss these things.

Again, not attacking you Chonosfera, it just doens't seem fair the characterizations people are giving for things they know nothing about.

Then how did my pre battle speech make it into your post? The fact that YOU choose to put it on the forum has nothing to do with the spy. If they were so appalled they could have done that. They did not, YOU did. It served what purpose, every GL is offered certain bits of information, should we just start posting rumor, how did you verify? Are we going to open the door to post tells, emails etc... I am sure we all have some choice ones we could put up.

Scarazi I am sorry, I messed up your name. Name's have meaning and I had no intention of misusing yours. It was a mistake. I apologize for it.

Your post states that if we put something on our private forum you think is offensive you will go public. How is that a positive? How is giving a pre battle pep speech, hateful?

I am not the one that brought this to the public forum. You feel it is okay to bash me or the KA on the forums, but when I point out that your threats to post private conversations is poor form you want to take it out of the public arena. Then stop invading our forums.

It's beginning to feel almost human here in the forums again. Come back and help us find a way for everyone to enjoy this game including those that enjoy the competition of PvP and those that don't.

I rescind this statement. Apparently having 1 public apology and 1 almost apology (sorry, Brock, but you don't seem overly remorseful in your post) isn't enough to help us begin to reconcile.

I was hoping we could begin to heal, but I guess we aren't there yet.

agree`s with Ali, never set out to be a spy, so here`s my offer, stop the trash talk and propoganda hatred comments directed at individual homins, don`t patronise your other alliance members with OOC personnal vendetta`s. And i`l leave your new Karavan Alliance forums alone. The old ones are filled with OOC greed and hatred, hope your new ones will be different

Now that all of my private conversations must go through the Scarzi, Chrono and whoever else filter. I thought I would save you some trouble of posting these words. I pity you. I pity those who follow you. I pity anyone that would support you. Threatening the very principals of private conversation, just because you do not like the contents of the thought or that it does not personally benefit you.
