Conquering The Source

Has anyone managed to get all 30 bits from a source?
I've come close, with .4 off the 30, and it's annoying the hell out of me now,hmm must find a way.

I've heard tell that with the Egiros Pick 30/30 is possible. Anyone else been trying for it?

I didn't think it would be possible for the simple reason that sources always max out at 1 less then the listed content. i.e. if it says 20 it really means 19.7 or something and will say it's empty after you get 19.

But it's possible 30 is a magical number and exempt from that rule. Would love to see a 30 mat pull

Well I'm not sure. If you check the picture , you will find a tiny bit off content left. Perhaps with a bit of fine tuning it can be done. Like using another extraction right at the end that will increase the speed of extraction, but with low rate, so my Focus consumption will be less, allowing that tiny bit extra.
I've tried this abit tonight, but can't get it to work just right yet. If at all..

Try using some Flowers to get more focus

35 or 36 mats (I forget which tbh) is the most I've got. No I don't have a screenshot to prove it, but I know enough people who have done it too that I'm sure I'm not seeing things.

As for getting 30 mats "unassisted" from a source, I haven't tried

PS. I have a feeling they changed something either in the Egiros picks or in the source contents at around the same time they patched to stop picks working when "broken" - before that I was getting 33+ mats/pull regularly, but just after it I was barely managing 29. After a subsequent patch, I got a few 33's and a 35 though, so they may have tweaked it back a bit.... Or I could just be going crazy

Think your talking about this bug aren't you? You were getting 35 mats out of a 30 source?
Ah of course you can't get 30/30 unassisted.

So have you been able to get 30/30 with nothing but a pick and a carer? Without bugs or boosts.
I guess that's a better way to put it.

for me, it's a 'bug'. coz everyone know there is around 75 sup mats in deposit.. i took 84 sup zun last time with egiros... it ROCKS!

I've had it where I've dug say 25 mats but the take window shows 250, then when the mats are in my bag they are back to 25 again. Your saying you acually took 84 mats and they stayed that amount in your bag?
