Good morning all.

I am currently working on an online version of the macros that i used to create my library. The software is currently in a state where it is almost ready to be used by english players, but needs one thing: Exposure. If any of you can spare some time and are interested, grab some of your chatLog files (unedited only) and throw it at the converter to see if it can handle them. What i'm most interested in are any messages that are still unfiltered and have no options to filter them as well as any circumstances that manage to completely kill it.

Disclaimer: The log will be uploaded to the server, processed there and then sent back to you. It will only exist in the memory of the server for a few seconds and will not be saved anywhere. Once it is stable enough i will make the sources available.

P.S.: To all german and french people reading, once i'm finished witht eh english version i will start making it compatible with logs in your language as well.

forever: your filter was completely right.
due to some problems with my server i had to call in a favor and had the script hosted on a server with rather unsavory content. now tho everything is fine and the script is running from my server without any problems. your filter shouldn't act up anymore and the whole thing is quite a bit faster now.

Silly question time. What does a chat log converter do?

ingame you do: /chatLog
then you go play and talk with people.
out of game you go into the save directory and find the log file for your character.
that file is in a format that is difficult to read, so you throw it thru the converter and it will mongle the log into a nice, tidy and (hopefully) aestetic website.
