Spread Effect

Post by Starla »

Has anyone taken the Spread effect which is available to offensive mages at level 50? If so is it any good or are there any strategies that are particularly effective with it? I took it to be different (everyone else takes bomb) and although the description claims you can only hit 2 targets I have managed to till a whole herd of 5 capryini's with a single shot.

Although it appears (or used to last I checked) that ric, spray and bomb affect different target numbers in their descriptions, in reality from what other people have told me and my own observations they all seem to affect 7 targets max.

I'm just hazarding a guess here, but i think theyre the same code just with different graphical effects.

Anyhow, yes, using one of these for heals in a hard pressed group is good; other than that it's just fireworks for the newbies I think.

Anyone got the lvl2 types yet to see how they fare? I'm guessing its just a reduction in the 30%- effect per target in the 'chain' but it would be good to know for sure.

well, when overwhelmed by mobs, bomb, spray, and ricochet shine.
They are not really different althoug i have to say that ricochet is by far the best for healing (W3 anyone ;) )
