Guys, I appreciate your loyalties, but is it not the case that we have much lower Kami numbers than Karavan? :) You're very bad people, you know that don't you? :)

Personally, I enjoy the rp and the lore. I am fairly new to Atys and very new to these forums, but OOC I enjoy pretending to be someone else...someone who is free to do as they please... For awhile, I get to forget the taxes, the laundry, the dishes, the JOB, and everything else that makes up the real world grind...

Is anyone else aware [OOC] that the Ryzom is an actual something? Possibly the something that the Karavan or even the Kami and who knows who else is looking for... Any ideas?

From the Game Overview:

"Behind these mysteries the key to the destiny of Atys resides, and the fate of hominkind lies. While rebuilding their civilizations, homins will soon have to look deeper into these questions to grasp the true Nature of Atys. For time is already running short. The destiny of Atys is about to change hands. Someone, or something already has their sights on the Green Planet, looking for the Ryzom."

I think that depends on what you like to do. For me is PvP and meet ppl. There is a lot of grinding in SoR, so mostly i think ppl stay for the friends they made in the game. Actually its normal to see as the whole guild leaves. If you are looking for nice events or nice raids to kill huge mobs this is not the game.

Nice events? We have nice events. Player-run events being generally better than official events, though.

You can simply choose not to grind, then there's no more grinding...it's completely within your control. ;)

I think the power-leveler types seem to burn out the most. Don't get me wrong, others have left too, but for other reasons. It is all what you make it. Ryzom is not a race, it is a journey.
