Are we seeing the end of the kamis?most of them are leaving the game or moving to the kara side...Seems like kamis side aren't fun enough since the beginning of th FvF coz of the kara bigger side, but i dont see it in that way... there still exist lots of kamis too, we only need to get more in touch and do more things together... that's the way that i feel the kamis have a chance of doing something and make the game more interesting.

Kami end?
Re: Kami end?
i see kamis everywhere everyday .... unfortunately

Re: Kami end?
I´m not on your Server, and I´m convinced that there will be times that you´ll be able to play with enough Kamis. But forgive me, that I could not resist the temptation, to lighten up the mood a bit and to overdo runddls Comment a bit.

Re: Kami end?
I think this could be a good idea - I have no idea of the current faction balance ingame, but if it's bad then we could probably do with a few mini-events or such to bring everyone together
My one request should something like this happen, is to remember poor Zorai - during my very brief login the other week, CoI contained 5 people (pretty much the number I remember from 9 months ago) - I crossed into 1 other region and found 2 players there - The Witherings desperately need more action going on, if only for the potential new Zorai players. They're effectively cut off from the rest of the population until someone gets them spawns on other maps. A stark contrast to when I first started my Live account in Nov'04, and Zora itself was well occupied (20+ players usually)...
The annoying thing (in terms of Witherings) is that for people to reach you in region, you need to be in CoI - and we all know there is no real reason for higher level players to be there, unless they're actually in one of the cities.
I think this is a good idea though
Quite what we could do for activities I'm not sure - I'm sure we could come up with something though, if we put our heads together. Something catering for my own puny levels would be most welcome
EDIT: Heh, I've been wondering about the story behind that yellow swimmer for some time, is there one?

Re: Kami end?
For some end for others just begining
And that's maybe a good moment to publicly announce TS, after months of deliberation what would be the best faction for us, finally decided and two days ago put into practice the decision: TS is from now on a Tryker-Kami guild.
In terms of game mechanics we thought this will be best because: some of us liked more the Kami storyline, others that it's always much more incentive to be the underdog, others that it's not fair for trykers not having a true kami choice (they usually have to go to fyros or zorai guilds if they want that), and not last: because we like the game be balanced and we would love to help that happen. But, like I said: we stay first Trykers and then Kami.
[IC] Some years ago in Fairhaven a bunch of friends created a group named Team Spirit. They were as different as people can be: some of them fighters, some crafters, some local intellectuality. What they shared were the Tryker fundamental values under the traditional "live and let live" adage.
Some of them have discovered in Fyros academies how important is honour in fighting, others went in the Void to seek for deep knowledge of the Zorai mystics, others indulged themselves in the Matis refinements. But none of them ever got fanatic about one cause and their tryker fundamental view on life made them able to understand we're all first and foremost homins.
Mainly Tryker as foundation, the TS was open to Fyros, Zorai and Matis but somewhat the cynical view of warriors united with intellectual skepticism kept them for a long time away from the religious war that was burning the canopy.
But after all they were homins, they were happy on Atys and didn't want to leave for alien spaces, and homins would not exist without Atys so more and more they became inclined towards that faith that would allow them to defend the source of their merry life.
Early in the morning, when the orange sky is goldening the desert under the fading stars, when the heat has not sharpened its fangs yet on the bones of those lost in the sands, four small peregrins left Cerakos Gate towards the Kami Temple in the North of the city. They were the first members of Team spirit that openly embraced one of the religions...

That´s HOMER SIMPSON!!!

Don´t ya recognise? *giggle*
Ahwell,... back to topic.
Maybe it´ll help a bit if you do some kind of advertisement

The TS Idea is great. But with the Zoraï it´s a totaly different matter.
In my experience it seems to be a problem on Aniro and Leanon too, that the Zoraï are "underpopulated". We´ve had a discussion about that not so long ago and came up with the following reasons why this may be the case:
1. The Mask - Zoraï have no facial (human) features, wich makes then hard to identify with.
2. The Story - They´re too "peaceful and monastic" for some tastes. People like "winner" races more than sitting in the corner an meditating. Only a few very dedicated RP´ers find the Zorai-Background intriguing.
3. "The Blue". Strangley people do seem a bit averse being compeared to smurfs

And yes, sadly I think you're right with those 3 points there. Strangely enough, 2 of those points (wearing a mask and being blue) are the reasons I *did* choose to be Zorai

And to confirm a few points from my 'Zorai' personality:
I like to be the 'underdog'
I hate to have any kind of advantage over a human opponent (less so with PvE environment)
I like to be mysterious (AKA I don't talk that much

I don't always make 100% sense

Some of the design for the Zoraï civilisation has strong Far-East influences - always a winner for me
The jungle scenery is just incredible - yes even when it's raining

Poor, poor Zorai
