PvE'ing in Ryzom

Post by chricke1 »

Helle everyone on the forum first of all, since this is my first post ;) .

As i am a PvE playing person, i love everything that a character can and see. However i seem to have a couple of small things that disturbs me. Why is it that the character can't dive? why can't my character lay down? and why can't my character jump? It's allways fun to have actions like this ingame, as it makes the character more allive. Well, this is 3 things out of a million, so basically i love the game and all the content, was just that i was wondering.

Btw. i heard that Pyr is allmost like a real city, is that true? (saving the best parts of the game for my endgame).

Have fun everyone, see you ingame?

Due to a graphical glitch that I am sure I am not the only one to have experienced I can tell you underwater is rendored in as much detail as overland.

Maybe the capability for us diving has been planned for at some stage, there have also been variuos artworks "floating" around of aquatic mobs.

Pyr is a sight to behold to be sure, but Fairhaven is where its at ;)

Nice picture they had post :D ..

Yeah, it seems as if it is planned, by checking on the "athmosphere" underneath the water. Hope it will come in a later stage!

Thanks for the quick reply btw.

You are not the only to have this happen. These are from the lake in Enchanted Isle:

Well, yes it would be nice to have such things and I´d be the first to yell a big "YEHAW!!!" if we had these, but sadly they´re still stuck "in development" together with actuall sitting on chairs and facial animations... :( *sigh*

BUT, we won´t let such small things spoil our FUN!!!! :D

d'oh! I didn't even think of trying that. Now it'll never happen again, but if it does, I'll let you know...

Is that the one which was dry in Beta ? , one of the PR lakes/waterholes was , you could walk into the cave but nothing there , that could change tho

And that's why I avoid looking under water...to me, the water from underneath looks blatantly like a flat piece of paper with a water effect on it propped between hills (beaches). XD There is not really an underwater atmosphere...it's the same as abovewater, just blue tinted ground.
