How you can help get more players into "Saga of Ryzom"

its very simple its called advertising. Nevrax as far as i can tell didnt even advertise in the US or Asia the biggest markets world wide. so its logical that if peep dont hear about the game they wont join it , as a lot of peep dont go around and read all the forums, how are they going to know about it . so if nevrax cant see that, well they have missed out big time to other games. but dont worry about peep leaving. if the population drops too low they will just join 2 shards together. like they did with the english and us servers.problem solved hehe

Trouble is, have you got the needed Budget for them?
Nevrax is a pretty small Company to beginn with, and simply doesn´t have the kind of financial Backdrop Blizzard or SonyIA have.
They´re mostly a passion driven Organisation and we all know that that´s not exactly what´s needed to have CocaCola print your product on their Bottles.

If your foolish enough to work for free go for it . but i already do contribute to the overall budget by paying my sub. i mean any business any where needs to advertise.and every budget has a percentage set aside for ads. i suggest if you want to work for nothing. you may as well go and sweep the streetsyou will get more thanks out of that

One possible suggestion would be if Nevrax were to allow or ask a few of the computer game magazines to put a free trial version of Ryzom on one of their coverdiscs? If they still do that anyway, its been years since I last bought a game magazine...

thats a good idea . and iam sure there are many more. but my point being.its up to the company to adverise , it shouldnt be up to the players. i mean , has anyone that reads the forums, ever seen any type of ads in the papers or on tv, the main stream of advertising ,not some back water mag or web site.

Helomax, you don´t simply know the history of this Game and Nevrax.
Not so recently they went through a Chapter 11 like Finacial-Overhaul-thing.
The AIN`t got the Money. Simple as that!!!! Just belive it.

They´re not Blizzard, or Sony. the´ve got no other Products to opt as a Money-Well for the Games Advertizing. Sad but true nevertheless, so we
as Players who love this Game have to ask ourselfs if we want to help bring more contributing customers to the game to build up the laking financials.
Is that so hard to belive?
Or would you rather watch the Game die a slow death of malnutrition, from being to expensive to live anymore...?

I don´t want that to happen and so I´m posting all over the Forums I know here in germany and I´m getting some results from it.

So, it would be very nice of you not to talk smart, but to act so too.

ok i dont know about Nervrax and its workings but . i thank you for doing what you can to keep this game alive . maye if we had more peep like you in game. it would grow and be around for a long while yet. keep up the good work. my last post on this or ill be slinging mud with Kye all day

Why don't you make the world a better place and be that way yourself.
