Why I closed SoA

Post by 901941 »

I’m already being asked why I left the Siren, so I figure I would post here and get it out of the way.

The Sirens of Atys (SoA) never really developed as a guild. Partly my fault, I walked away from the game when I had a few members and when I return most of those members had moved on. I recruited a few new players, but not all stay after their trial period and I just stopped recruiting after that. I never really wanted a large guild in the first place only a small group of players that like to RP.

However, because I have venture into other games and have divided my time going back and forth, I decided to close the guild and leave it in the hands of Aliyah (my alt, who I will use to Rp from time to time). My intention for SoA was to create some characters and start a story for when I get my hands on R2. I think I’ve done that. Who knows what will happen when R2 comes out, it could be a flop, or it could save this game.

I have joined the Atys Paladins since I have hunted and interact socially with some of its members. I’m very happy to be part of AP. I will continue to do little things here and there but as an Atys Paladins member and only if it’s okay with them. But, for the moment any scheduled SoA events are canceled until further noticed.

Thanks all, cy’all around Atys sometime.

One of the few players who does player events, so don't quit or cancel the events! There arent enough of player-event-organizers at all!

some posts shouls be hidden forever, and anyone who tries to uncover them should be sentenced to be feeding Mabreka's yuboos for the rest of his life.

But to answer your question, just check the Saga forums if there is something strange going on. Just because I havent posted doesnt mean we (yes we, I never ever did an event alone, Frydeswinde said it very nicely here) havent something brewing...
