Re: You ugly sand-maggots!
Welcome old friend
I trust you will find it restoring some of the sense of purpose, after the chaos that seemed to swirl in ever greater circles, like a vortex threathening to swallow us all. Lwiz, I am proud to see you seeking a new home among the Samsara.
(And I tell you, it's like a dream come true to me. Because they are part of a great alliance of Guardians. Remember me running around thinking I was about the only guardian? haha. I must have been way to preoccupied staring at the ground)

Seems like adopting Fyroses is like holding sand in open fist.
Hope ye will be happy with yer new patrons and ye wont sell yer soul for just 30 dappers
It was big loss to zorais and Ma-Duk to loose ya, but we need to follow our heart as we feel.
I'll pray light of Ma-Duk for ya Lwiz and hope some day ye can break those bonds of greed from ya.

How a mercenary can have any companionship anyway?
Put in line some dappers and they are willing to sell their poor mum for pack of varinxes =)
Ok, i'm willing to admit that even with worse cutthoats, there may be some kind on code of honor among group
Re: You ugly sand-maggots!
Matis sun is high above ground and group of figters make last check of their gear. All of these homins, young and ol' are gathered in small clearing between woods and waiting messenger arrive. Many of homins know this day might be last in face of Atys, but warmth of believe for one supreme power have drawn them here and they are ready.
Suddenly between trees one single homin appears
"Hail brothers and sisters, it is time"
Word of invasion to desert lands have reached this small group.
"Battle rages on Flaming Forrest and it is our time to honor our pact with desert folk. Let us make one last prayer to Ma-Duk and be ready for battle ourself"
Small band of homins start short journey in Knoll of Dissent and with ever increasing speed, waves of battle start.
Wave after wave spells make air shatter in darkening day of forrestlands. Forrest echoes with warcries of warriors and cries of pain when ice and fire hits its targets. Action comes to wheel of chaos and cries of dying start to fade for whispers.
At first it seems that Ma-Duk is with us and our enemy is slowly loosing battle. Suddenly another force of fallse goddes followers hit in our flank and only short cry of terror marks falling of this band. We were ambushed and last recognission is blood red sun in our eyes.... then all is cold and dark.
Swirling stars will go all around us for less than hartbeat and soon i feel familiar warmth returning to my body. Ma-Duk have again answered to our prayers and we have another chance to come whole again. Slowly shell of or bodies start to get more warmth and revitalazing energies roam trought lifless pile of dead ones. After dark theres allways light and light of Ma-Duk is greatest of them all.
I open my eyes in gate area of forrestland. My brains take half a second to regognice where I'm and how i got here and in next half a second i see fiery ball coming toward our small group and then it's darkness again.
We try to come back to life time, after time, after time and end result is no power of Atys can make us live more than 1 second. We are defeated here, not by fair wheel of battle, but covardly tactic of killing helpless homins near death and crazed by disorientation of resurection.
With sorrow of failure in heart, our small group regroups in homeland and hear urgent news that part of force whose tried conquer desertlands are now rampaging freely in witherings.
Part of our brotherhood is stunned by by these grave news and part despairs with no hope in heart.
We gather all force we can muster and head to our sacret Grove to defend our homeland. Once again batle starts and hits are changed. Healing magic, bolts of lightning and brave warriors of us charge with cry for Ma-Duk against enemy lines. Some fell and some are resurected. In some point we are defeated and need again powers of Ma-Duk to continue our fight.
Resurection, whirling tunnel and yet again deja-vu... fireball coming to us. Agony, darkness and swirling stars again and again.
In the end of day we barely make tie with attacking forces. All surviving defenders exhausted fell on ground and fell asleep among dead and dying. War has tooken its toll and living got more wounds than it can be seen in surface.
Couple of days passes by. Our brotherhood starts to heal slowly and scrape pieces of our ol' live together. Meditation, training and silent prayers of Ma-Duk starts to heal those wounds that battle made to all of us.
But in the end all wounds cannot be healed. One of us is starting to wander out of our band of brothers and sisters.
Wounds are too deep and he cannot forget all those deeds, that brings worst sides of hominhood to surface. No prayer of Ma-Duk can save him for despair and loneliness he feels in his heart.
"Small desert guardian walks slowly from gates of Zora to lands unknown. That night jungle is still and falling rain in leafs of the tree echoes sorrow of lost to us all."
"Ye have to follow yer heart bro, i still pray Ma-Duk to keep ya safe so ye can follow light once more someday. Homin without homeland, warmth of home and light of Ma-Duk.
Long path upon ye, but i know you will find new home and new light to yer life."

Thenkee ye olde warhorse upon thine kind words
Friendship is still one of the things that are too dear to be sold, even if the sword or amps follow the dapper.

You assume much about us. We may be for hire for certain duties, but there is much we do for free for each other and our friends.

Re: You ugly sand-maggots!
I can only say I agree with Kostika. Why did I apply for a membership in the Samsara? My foremost wish was to be able to stay friends with homins in both factions. Would that suggest I lost my faith in Ma-Duk? No, nonetheless.. urging Zoraïs to fight the "enemy" was a downer to me.kostika wrote:You assume much about us. And yes, it was a sad day I had to renounce myself as a Zoraï citizen. But it was not possible any other way.
Role playing has been and always will be important to me. You should know that Astovidatu
Therefore I ask you, have faith in Lwiz, he will be a great homin as he always has been. Trust his heart as we do; reason with him if you must, and try to understand the wisdom in what he has chosen to be
