Karavaneers voted not too long ago not to stoop to others level on spawn camping... if any are doing it, even in anger... shame on them !

there is an example from rl for exactly same: some care drivers force their right of way at a complex crossroad to create a car accident (and then further betray the assurance company). if there are witness every judge will give you the fault for that accident.
provocating someone to do a failure is imo as low as griefplay. you can often see it in trashtalk that someone is starting to provocate another only with the purpose that he is using an insult to report him to a GM.

if you get spawnkilled once, i would get upset too. tell them that this is wrong in your opinion. if you respawn again and still got nuked, then you should see that there is no hope they will stop it and better leave that place for the sake of not escalate the situation. you can always tp out of there, there is no reason to respawn over and over again just to prove how bad the others are.

i'm not saying with this spawnkilling is right. if you kill someone with one hit who has just respawned and got no health back yet, doesn't really speak for that you are thinking while playing. spawnkilling you can not only see in mmorpgs, i've seen it enough in fps games but the arguments are always the same. many times it happens out of a group dynamic that is hard to prevent and harder to stop. you can shout and yell in all channels without effect. better name those or send a direct tell to the ones doing it so that they realize what they are doing. some will be upset and start to insult you badly but you would be surprise how many will stop and excuse that they weren't aware of what happend.

when spawn zones are pvp zones it will always come to spawn killing. if you make them non-pvp zones others will use them as save zones. both options will be cheated by some.
another option is to make a timer when you respawn you will not be attackable for some time. enough time to run away in case there are many enemies where you have just respawned or tped.

if you go afk with pvp tag on - prepare to get killed.
if you go diggin with focus gear on (pvp tag on or pvp zone, no amps or sword) - prepare to get killed.
both are exactly the same - you dont have a chance to defend yourself.
it's been argued over and over, only one outcome - it's your fault if you not prepared to defend yourself.

and to be perfectly clear... i dont pvp.

in a middle of pvp battle.... "Wait, gotta take a leak. dont kill me"

log out if you dont want to "maybe get killed" in a that time.

geesh, sooon someone will start complaing when he/she gets killed while lag spike or disconnect (same thing, he/she cant fight back).

want to PvP ? then be ready for nasty things that comes with it (spawn killing is totally different than afk killing).

lol i didnt disassemble my own argument - you just missed the point.
If your pvping and you have to go to the toilet - tp to a safe area or log.
Either that or go afk in a pvp zone and expect to be killed - dont whinge about being 'afk ganked' when you are the one who have chosen to allow it to happen.

Being killed while Tagged up for Outpost or Cult is fair game imo

Being able to be killed after Porting/Spawning is something that needs to be sorted by the Devs , id suggest that Outpost and Cult Tags are suspended (player shows as untagged and cant be attacked or heal Tagged players) until youve left the safety zone around the TP/Spawn , Re-entering the safe area should do nothing (no hiding here :p ) unless youve done it through re-porting

EDIT - Hmmm thought that covered it , but it does leave Spawned/Ported players unable to tell which side another Spawned/Ported player is on and able to heal the opposition -so suspended players still need to show as enermy (if they are) and be unable to be cast upon

i second this - it clearly needs to be rectified
