Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

Which I assumed you knew when you referenced mcdonalds.... but hey... you aren't making any sense with your point... why should I expect consistency... right?

So what effort does the owning guild need to put in to hold it? They need to defend it if it is attacked.

If outpostless Homin A shows up to help in an OP defense, have they done any less than the owning guild members to maintain that outpost? Do they deserve any less of the rewards because they are in a different guild?

What of an outpost that has never been attacked? Do the two hours of fighting bandits when they were released entitle the owning guild to all resources provided for eternity, only giving out to others for favors or trade?
I couldn't agree with you more... do guilds that don't have to defend their OPs from attack truly "work" to get the mats. Hello no.

But... is this their problem?

It's a game design... not something I feel the OP owner should be personally accountable for. If you don't like the game design... leave... otherwise play within the design I.E. attack an OP.... make trades... or drop the complaining to the players and complain where your problem lies.

Whether someone has to work for something or not is just a terrible argument to stand behind. Trust fund babies... when they come to my restaurant to spend their trust fund money... is just dandy by me. I'm happy with it. Do I call them selfish.... insist they share.... say my efforts to earn what is given to them are a joke and won't be bothered because their morally shallow money is worthless here? No... cause it makes no sense... none... zero... zip... zilch.

Did I mention that makes no sense what-so-ever?

Karavaneers have stood shoulder to shoulder against the enemies of Jena...
Karavaneers have fallen side by side when things did not go in their favor...
Karavaneers, when the time for battle ended, have shared their bounty with others.
Nexus has done all those things you mention, DT. They might not play karavan's faction like OmegaV or Melinoe, and might not shout as much about it, but they are karavan for sure.

One thing that might help in the misunderstanding is that Nexus is (mostly?) a European guild, and OmegaV and Melinoe are US guilds, meaning that they dont meet that much on weekdays.

TNE and OoTN are mostly EU guilds, and we meet OV and Mel almost everyday.

Where was Nexus ?

To say your are Karavan is easy, to be a part of the faction means more than words and forum trolling. There is a good reason IMHO that your showing a sense of guilt over things...

YOU EARNED IT !
Firstly, thx Sxarlet, you resumed a big part of what i wanted to clarify.

But i'm surprised about the aggro tone of this post, as Sxa said and as i wanted to say, we are not on the same timezone. The only moment our guilds played side by side was on the "temple event", when most of us sacrified their sleep time killing the evil :) kamis and digging for the temple.
Since this time, i cant remember we really met one of you. Except when, as good karavan follower we though we were, I and my leader, were on a private chat "link" with one of your guildie during your op attack period, ready to move our guild to defend it (we were not on place cause we all know it was a false declaration). We had always respect your guild, and as we have no matter to do the opposite, we will continue.

Did i shout, did i make noise ?......maybe
Sorry if i offend someone, cause it's not me, but i though some posts about the "tryker" problem, about the generosity of Omega V (that i dont refute) have to been clarified. Our Omega V "problem" will be now settle in private.

And about beeing Karavan followers....yes we are. We made some effort to be able to be proudly tag-recognized, we died for Jena, and will die again.

This will be the last post about that on this thread, jumping on posts makes mines off-topic. Btw, i agree with Brithlem (bah, must wash my mouth now *spit*) :)

opinions don`t need to be corrected every darn time, what was said was a perfectly valid point, it wasn`t incorrect

Well then what's wrong with my opinion that it is invalid?

Sxar posted that the reason Nexus don't appear to some people to be "actively karavan" is because they have mostly EU members. I posted the names of two other guilds that are predominantly EU based and obviously Karavan to people such as Spiff and DT.

If you wanna continue this, take it to a PM pls, don't wanna clutter the boards any more :)
