Atysian Idol Fashion Show!

Since they don't seem to have said it officially...

Sashtan won the girls but had already left, so Ayur was awarded the win.
For the guys, it was a tie for 1st (sorry, I forgot the name of the guy I tied with ) and I was awarded the win because I had more "consistently high" scores (I got straight 8s from the 4 judges I think, and I believe the other guy got a 10 and some low scores).

Then Ayur and I came on stage and the audience voted for "Atys Idol" between us and I won

I have lots of pics of the crowd. A few of the stage, but no close-up of the contestants, they were too many ^^ (I have to check if I have the winners or not on these screenies). I'll try to upload them, if I don't forget.

Zespiole is working furiously on editing Atys News 6 which includes events before the fashion show. I think the show will be covered in News 7 or 8 - blame the events team for too much to report on

Greetings, fair fine Homins! Judges Nuni, Trini, Learoy, and Celon of the Atysian Armor Conference along with Host Lilly would like to thank you all who participated and attended the fashion show. Many displays were shown, and only few were praised, but what a praise those lucky few received!

We apologize for the mauling, however, no pain no gain as Celon loves to claim; We have a special way of teaching and lending our services. But to all of you homins who believed that there was no prize, did you think the title of Atys Idol was nothing more than a mere pat on the back? False! Lies!

To the winner, who survived the judges and an audience vote, we, the representatives of the Atysian Armor Conference bestow upon the winner, the title of "Atys Idol" and the first Winners' Plaque! Congratulation, young Homin, and best of luck to you all for the next competition!

Bah! That's no apology. I think my point is still not clear to some people. Many comments that the judges made were not merely critical, but HURTFUL. In my opinion, the fashion show was no better than an adolescent popularity contest. A line was crossed that should not have been.

I suppose all I can do is refrain from taking part in these events in the future. I take no pleasure in seeing other homins brought to tears over something as silly as their fashion sense.
