Friend is playing in 64 bit without any problems this far. Dunno if game support is available as fully as in 32 bit though.

Haven't heard of any problems with it... As long as all your drivers are x64 compatible you should be good :)

I run x64 and have experienced no problems with Ryzom but one. For some strange reason, Ryzom crashes when running memory in dual channel mode. Normally, I would attribute this to a hardware problem, but when switching back to 32-bit the problem no longer occurs.

This is really a small problem and it could be a fluke. Otherwise, Ryzom runs great on x64 and in fact seems to run a little smoother (could be wishful thinking :) ).

I notice Ryzom also can at time's run smoother in Win XP X64.

Will be upgrading to Athlon X2 4800 very soon, and see how it run's. Hopefully no issue's.

I got it running on my main pc at home. Only problem I had was the fact that the game wouldn't install from the game CD. After downloading the game, installation worked. I'd say this problem was related to hardware drivers, and not the game itself.
Got one bonus, the mousewheel allows me to zoom in and out ;) which I can't do on my other win2k pc.

I got no problems running dual memory channel, as mentioned by Spiff.

I can't really compare my two pc's running Ryzom, because they are drastically different. (Athlon4000+ vs dual Opteron) But I am happy with both. So I say, you got the machine then go for it :P
