Check out http://www.aodb.info/ for AO. Ryzom could definately do with a much more extensive database for mats, completed weps etc...
There are sites around but they need to be more complete.

mine's http://www.unlife.com/daoc but only covers DAOC atm... maybe in the future I'll find some time to build on Ryzom, but to provide information, you need knowledge of the game, which you can gain only by gathering that knowledge playing; chatting; checking forums.. so not much time yet
