So many good suggestions: here's my list, with one I haven't seen yet..in order:

1. space the stanza EDIT option away from the stanza DELETE option or if deleting a stanza, offer an "Are you sure you wish to delete this stanza?" message. I'm often deleting stanzas when trying to edit them...
2. craft from apartment
3. logout to another char without having to exit (ESPECIALLY since this game is so much longer to load than other games)
4. team map bug
5. emote character gender
6. allow friends into apartment
7. afk dead puppet - I don't use it either, really a matis is too proud to stand like that, a timed auto afk system would help

Just me...Keetch

Not sure if this in minor or not but footsteps while we walk or run would be nice, and thunder to follow the animation with a constant blowing wind noise in a big storm, not just when the weather changes. Aside from that everything has been said!

Thanks for giving us this opportunity to speak our mind.

richky wrote:The only problem with this workaround is that the arrow on the map marking your position covers a lot of ground and you are actually standing somewhere in the middle of it, so it's kind of a guess as to where to actually put the marker. I would love to be able to have a macro that automatically puts a marker exactly where I am standing :D .
I would love to be able to place and see my markers in the in-game world, not just on the map. And how about moving markers... I don't think either of these qualify for quick and easy though.

Interface

  • window setups (F1-F4) not jumping back to the F1 window setup when a new user marker is placed on the map
  • (seconded) drag-and-drop item movement: drag to tab to try and move to respective container, drag to trade window to add the item to a trade, drag into an un-windowed are to open a trash dialogue, et cet'ra
  • option for in-game window border 'snapping' (e.g. move a window's edge within, say, 5 pixels of another window's edge and they snap together)
  • (seconded)auto-sorting, or a sort button in the inventory window
  • (seconded)Shift+F5 taking off the targeting box AND not highlighting targets/roll-overs
Guild
  • (seconded)guild MotD
  • (seconded)online/offline indicators in the guild window
Teams
  • (this may be a bit big, but) capibility to make a 'command team', where the leader of a team can create a team composed only of team commanders (while remaining in their respective teams), allowing for a greater degree of organization between teams. The command team would have a chat channel for the members in it, a window similar to the team window that would indicate the number of people in each leader's team, but the command team would not share experience like a regular team; essentially, just a coordination team
  • team secondary leader would get promoted to team leader if the leader logged off while in team, and a new secondary leader would be chosen by the old secondary leader
Miscellaneous
  • (seconded)correct gender in invites, et cet'ra
  • (seconded)AFK possible while sitting, perhaps the head goes limp like in the standing animation
  • (seconded)free-form emotes; /me /emote and the like
  • some kind of FX when a player pops in/out due to TP, logout/login. Could just use a pre-existing animation, like a stamina heal orb where the player will appear/disappear

Showing an 'alt' info for all actions/buttons in game?
(more specificaly - in the IG mail - when i move my mouse over buttons i wanna know what that button is before i click it)

/tell with a number of people at once would be nice - or sorting the tells you have into one window with tabs.

fix bugs with mobs when hunting.. - often times you'll attract a mob and itll do its little dance thing in place as you stare and wonder whats going on.. then BOOM its on top of you chewing on your face... i'd like to see the mob come after me (helps set up formation for teams)

dunno if its a bug - but when healing i often find i was damaged by the MOB bieng tanked by another person.. even when i'm not in "range" of the MOB. (btw wat does mob stand for? :D )

an auto-buy TP would be nice too. (lost my zora tp on accident and had to die all the way back to the spawn point from desert *shudders at the DP costs*

a scratchpad? i'm sick of sending myself emails everytime i find out interesting things i dont want to forget - it'd be nice to have a little window that i can type notes to self in. *note to self, never EVER anger gamic again* :P

..those are all the 'little' ideas i can think of right now *yawn* its getting late in the states... Gnite!

*EDIT* how about some way to put in a ticket for a title request!? (servelan would really appreciate a "barmaid" title XD - and it would help immensely for RP events!... (wonders if she could create her own guild called Barmaid.. that might work.. hmmm XD)

A pallet of actions you write similar to the action book so I could write and store my actions and drop them into hands as needed. This would save the need of more hands bars and make reworking your hands bar a far less daunting task. The other posters seem to have covered the rest of my ingame annoyances. (the chat window one drives me nuts). :D

Two things I haven't seen directly mentioned:

1) The ability to "log" /tell windows. It would make negotions much easier. I don't like the idea of negotiating a deal in a public chat window, but I can't record the deal for posterity if I negotiate it in a /tell window except by doing screenprints, which I can't send to the other party in an IG mail.

2) A button someplace, maybe in game config, to force a reconnect/resync when I get one of my 10-times a day "FS Lost" messages. And yes, I've tried the windowed/fullscreen switch, it doesn't work reliably for me, And yes I've already gone through the whole router/server/network configuration rigamarole. Some of us just have really lousy quality internet connections, and only one provider to choose from.

martl wrote:Well, here's my 2 dappers worth:

Hands bar
----------------------
- being able to move actions between hands bar, like, lets say, from hands bar 1 to hands bar 7

- being able do copy actions within the hands bar (Create a new one like an existing one) <- already in...
It'd be nice if we could somehow make it so that the new actions we learn aren't put in the hands bar the way they're implimented at the trainer. No one just uses them the way they're given to us. For new players it's nice, but when you know what you're doing it becomes more of a hinderance than a help.
