I'll resurrect any fallen homin that I can reach, which considering my abysmal navigation skills, is a often limited to those within a 125 m radius of me. But, I'll still try.

PvP is part of the game; if someone wants to kill me when I'm attackable and then go hunt mobs later on with a group, I might attack that person directly in a PvP mode but I'd not leave them down to get death penalty.

As a matter of fact, I routinely team with and help people that we face in battle on a regular basis.

However, it's up to each homin to decide for him or herself how to handle this - if you think it's best to refuse help to anyone for any reason of your own, or due to an rp imposed restriction or a guild rule, that is your right.

Everyone handles it differently as it should be...

If homins are not acting IC I would rez anyone I was capable of... If they are spewing anti-faction in region I would ignore them to stay IC. Other than about 4 Kami's that we all know and love for their conduct, they deserve a rez as they are fellow homins... Them few that attack AFK folks, crafters etc at the stables and laugh about will rot where they fall.

True, it's not a particularly high-road tactic, but I had already contemplated what I would do if someone I wouldn't rez was in a downed team. Actually, I should say if the someone I won't rez was in a downed team. I couldn't bring myself to lift a finger to help them, but I wouldn't want to inflict anything on their teammates.. after all plenty of people have been suckered into thinking that he/she is a decent person in the past, so I wouldn't hold anyone else responsible for that

quick response from me i would rez unless he/she had there tag on and so did i then i would think twice and not sure what i would do but hey i only PvP when an OP is under att and i know a few peeps i dont like alot but would still rez anyway have fun seeya

As one of the kami involved, I didn't mind what you did. As others said - it wasn't as if you denied us something that we have a right to. Plus the hunt had gone so badly at that point that the run back from the tp was a nice change.

As to what I would do in a similar situation - probably rez everyone. But that's cause I don't hold grudges, partly cause of who I am, but partly cause I never have PvP on (get to play so little atm I can't be bothered to waste the time dying in PvP). However, there are people I'm less inclined to team with due to having bad experiences with them in the past, so can easily see how this can be taken to the next step.

By enabling the pvp-tag, one pretty much implies: "Go ahead and nuke me...I pretty much give the ok".

I know there are some people here who think that, but I think that's not true at all.

There's consentual PVP, which means challening another to the duel through role play or other means, and there's griefing or ganking.

Yes, I believe it's roleplay to take the resources in the name of Jena/Ma-Duk by sneaking up on the PR spots and wiping the oppositing faction, but just in and of itself having a PVP tag should not be a license to kill, it's a license to engage in killing or being killed, and while probably a subtle distinction, I think there is a distinction.

I'm not interetsed in attacking anyone yet I always wear my tag. So far, only one person has been immature enough to see this as a license for a cheap kill (in which no defense was put up whatsoever due to me having no beef with them prior to this), and even admitted he liked griefing 'cos it's funny'.

Sorry, back to the main bit of the thread.. I tend to rez unless I have a compelling reason not to (there are a handful -- very small -- that don't deserve it due to their anti-everyone else behaviour). My reasons are really generally only due to someone being undersving, not necessarily faction related, but that's just me
