I like being a Zorai. I also like the idea of the Kami and the lore surrounding them. So it's much easier to rp something I like than something I don't.

I deleted it when I left. I don't regret doing that though as having to build a new one is giving me stuff to do. If I had the old on all built up I think I would get bored really quick.

FvF tag on = fair game :D

The only other thing you can do is just talk at them meanly - if you do that in an RP way within the CoC and they get upset, then boohoo for them :p

the ones with the little blue or yellow tags after their names...
if its not there, you can reasonably assume they arent interested and manage to enjoy Ryzom without necessarily getting involved in some petty Kami/Karavan squabble :p

I want a pink tag..... :p

Or, and that's even better, a Tryker tag!
Can you even imagen to see the chaos if all civs got a FvF tag aswell?

Anyhow, not to derail the entire thread, welcome back Raynes/Simein! And I'm hoping the Ring will live up and beyond it's promise aswell!

The article was fun to read anyway :)

Of course.. that's relatively evident :) the muddy waters are in FvF and GvG zones... where no "tag" is applicable :p (lol I don't mean to start another thread about PvP) with the "I think that even if you have no tag, the way Nevrax has set up the background gives me the posibility to.. blah blah"

If I remebre correctly.. Raynes got some bad reputation amongst several players for RPing a Kami extremist in the Prime Roots as well.

Nevertheless, it seems to me that the player base has stablished some kind of "fair manners" with tags meaning free for all... and leaving PR diggers pretty much alone, unless in events as EP2.

FvF area around temples does not work.

what would work, is when attacking temple guard you will be flagged as FvF.
when temple are "under attack" (at least one guard dies ;-) kamist/karavaneer (depends what temple is attacked) gets broadcast message saying so and when arriving at temple you get popup to "defend" or be "neutral".
timers more or less same as outpost battle.

i'm sure Karavaneer (or Kamist) would say : "It's fun to see kami (or karavan) scumbags die." ;-)

I agree that in that sense, the PvP/GvG/FvF settings can provide more immersion RP-wise: how can a Kami extremist come to Yrkanis gazebo, in the middle of a King Yrkanis speech, tagged or not, and express his religeous beliefs loudly surrounded by Karavaneers, Jenaites and guards and walk away unpunished and without fear of the consequences?... the new fame and tags and other gameplay settings can help, but it can very easily be used out of context and meaningless/random griefing...
