Another Tatooine refugee

Hello Everyone!

I've just landed on your wonderful planet. I came from my Tatooine home leaving everything behind. I was master artisan/architect/bio engineer back on Tatooine but after NGE everything I could gather for two years time of hard work was destroyed. So now I'm looking for new place to live and to craft and I hope I will be able to find one here. ...and I have to say that I'm not so surprised seeing a lot of fellow Tatooinian here
I'm glad that the community itself is very mature, I think that it is so hard to find that virtue in todays mmorpgs. After SWG I was playing also Neocron, EQ and EQ2, Horizons but these titles didn't suit my exploring and crafting needs. I'm still playing EVE-Online (for two years) but I'm looking for something to fill the emptiness after SWG.
I'm very happy to be here, my char name in game is also Xargh so you will probably hear from me asking fos some help or guidance.

Welcome to Atys, and good luck with your crafting the only advice I can give you now, other than read the forums, player based guides and don't despair if newbie land is empty, is that the best companion for a crafter is a pick

I think that you will find the crafting here very intriguing, there are literally hundreds if not thousands of recipes.
There are a lot of different areas of craft as you will have already seen and if you really love crafting you can learn each of the different races designs too.

I'm so excited about this title. One thing I like so much here is the skill tree. I like to experiment with skills and I like to learn different proffesions. I don't think that any other MMORPG can give such freedom.

To craft you really need to forage and that is another whole interesting subject in itself. Look through the web and you will find many fan-sites that describe foraging, foraging stanzas and so on.

You will not find much on crafting or crafting recipes as each crafter has their own secret recipes and you will have to find your own as well. If you should wander from the crafting and foraging, there are many other branches to follow in melee and magic.
