Game freeze at loading screen

My game freezes at the loading screen, the bar fills up along the bottom and then it doesnt change to the ingame screen.
On the task manager utility it was no responding

any ideas how to get the game to load properly

Things to try:

- open port UDP 47851 in your firewall and network router - this port may close due to lessened traffis while loading data

- make sure network path is clear and constant - packet loss may cause issues

- rename SAVE folder - sometimes a corrupt file in there will cause problems

- redo video drivers - we have seen some issues with the wrong drivers for some cards - older cards (GF4 or low end GF5) should stick to the something like 71.89 for nVidia

yeah its cool now tho mate,
it was a suggestion to stop my crashes from a guildie that caused this problem
he told me 2 change the start menu and bar along the bottom back to the basic windows 98 and remove my background to help things load quicker but all it did was screw things up

just incase it happens 2 any1 else

had the same prob for 1.5 yrs, seems nothing sorts it

will get new PC with different card etc in 2 days, so can finally find out whether its the game or my PC that was to blame
