Because a newbie like me can never run out of questions to ask .....

(1) I recently attained 30 in Defensive Magic, so I now have all three healing spells to tier 4. For the first time, I'm encountering variance in my Heal Life stanza. It heals anywhere from 150 to 249 each cast. To my recollection, the earlier stanzas had no variance. Are my recollections incorrect, or did something get introduced into the new stanza which is causing a high variance?

(2) When I was in Zora, the lowest cost packer was 133k or so dappers. In Pyr, at the east stables, the lowest cost packer is 120k. Why the difference? I've been saving up since day 1 for a packer (and I'm getting close) but should I be shopping around the various stables for the best deal? Or are prices, like the organic, dynamic in Atys?

(3) How much fibre would a forager forage if a forager could forage fibre?

Prices depend on your fame . Since your sig says you dwell in the desert, I suppose you've done more missions for the Fyros (or maybe even taken Fyros citizenship), which would explain the lower price you'd pay for a packer in Pyr compared to other towns.

It could be because you started using different amplifiers. A spell that heals 140 health without amplifiers will heal 280 health with 100% heal power amplifiers and 210 with 50% heal power amplifiers.

Also you sometimes get partial failures that make you heal for less than the full effect of the spell. How often you get failures depends on your heal level in comparison to the level of the spell you're using (look at "succes rate" when creating a heal spell).

You cant ever forage enough Fibre / Resin / Seed always in short supply n the best things to get if you want to sell quick on the Merchants

lol well you get more Leather than you do Skin but realy the only mat thats ever over stocked is Blade/Point , id still say Fibre/Resin/Seed for a fast sell to players (via Merch) tho

Did you change something in your Armor?
Different types of Armor have differnt effects on Spells cast.
Light Armor has no effect, medium has a slightly lessening effect, and heavy registers with a strong decrease of spellpower.
A Mage in heavy doesn´t fly that good, one may come to think.

malus (from HA for example) does not decrease spell power, but increases hp/sap/stam/focus/time required for action/spell and alse decreases spell range.
iirc, malus does not even interfere with success %
