I wanted to see what other races were like, so I created a Fyros... wow! there are soo many Fyros people around! I saw like... 10 other people in the newbie area at once!
But in Zora (the capital city of the Zorai?) I was alone there
Is it always like this? Am I destined to be a lonely Zorai? or could I take residence in a more populated city?

Re: Life is lonely as a Zorai?
From what I've read and seen, Matis are the most populous race, followed by Fyros, Tryker, then Zorai. In my own experiences of late, Zora is desolate. Very few people there. Avendale (Tryker capital) seems to have a healthy population, and they're VERY nice folks. I'm currently spending time in Pyr (the Fyros capital), and the population is also healthy. I'm told Yrkanis (the Matis capital) is brimming with people, but Eppy is shy, so he's going to stay away
You can move any character to other capitals, but it requires a guide and sometimes a powerful group to get from certain capitals to other capitals. I moved Eppy from Zora to Pyr in just a few hours alongside Inaeroth. We only died a few times, but made steady progress along the way until we finally reached Pyr.
Best regards,

Re: Life is lonely as a Zorai?
You can travel anywhere you want and still be a zorai. Most of the players in the jungle lands will either be found crafting at the stable or out in the void or Kipee Mull leveling, but there are zorai players and zorai guilds.meh01 wrote:I wanted to see what other races were like, so I created a Fyros... wow! there are soo many Fyros people around! Joining a guild will also alleviate the feeling of being alone. The world of Atys is a huge place but you'll be able to talk with your guildmates in the guild chat no matter where they are. Three guilds I'd recommend talking to are Atys Paladins, Twilight Whispers, and Merchants of the Void. I've seen Crescent Moon in the jungle alot too, but their play times don't match mine so I don't know them well.
If you just want help trekking to new lands, many guilds or individual players will trek any new player that wants to see new lands. Cara Via does it whenever we can. Just ask one of us when you see us.

Re: Life is lonely as a Zorai?
Zora -is- pretty quiet. In Zorai, I'd say MinCho is probably the busiest city.
People level on plants just to the south of it (Kipee Mull), so they use its tp
and trainers.
Faction-wise (Kami), Zorai are aligned with the Fyros, so if you are considering
emigrating, Pyr would probably be your best bet until you level up a bit.
There are a fair number of people there, and the city is quite interesting.

Re: Life is lonely as a Zorai?
Lonely? Not by a long shot! Yes... There are fewer of us then other razes (Zorai), but pretty much everybody comes to our land. I personally know of a few Trykers and Matis that basically live at the Witherings (While remaining Karavan)meh01 wrote:I wanted to see what other races were like, so I created a Fyros... wow! there are soo many Fyros people around! Cities of Intuition seems empty because there are high level zones near the cities (Grove of Umbra near Min-Cho and Haven of Purity near Zora and Hoi-Cho)... Then you get to the Void and you can see blue dots all over the place.
If anything there is too many people around. Not too much of a problem when it comes to harvesting, but it sometimes affects hunting (Good thing there are many good spots to hunt, so you can just move from one place to another very easy)

Re: Life is lonely as a Zorai?
You can get to any city by foot. What you need to do is join a guild and ask them to trek you all over Atys, or find out when a Trek is going to happen.meh01 wrote:How can I get to these cities? Train? Boat?
Once you visit each city you can buy TP tickets (The ones available to you depending on your fame). Once you do that you can just teleport all over the place. Just remember to buy a new ticket every time you use one.
