Zorai light armour?

Post by meh01 »

I have a Zorai character, currently training magic. I found this website that lets you try on different armours so you can see what each looks like on your character.

I've got only one thing to say about zorai light armour; EWW.

Please tell me it's possible for female zorai mage to wear something other than that hideous light armour? I really like the heavy armour (reminds me of Yoshimitsu for some reason!) but I was told mages shouldn't wear heavy armour :( or is it possible to wear other race's armour? :o

I know it doesn't really matter much, but I felt kinda stupid running around in the snow with hardly any clothes on -_-

You can wear any race's armor.

Since medium armor has an additional hp bonus, and a full suit only makes spells cost 20% more, some healers(in groups mostly) are starting to use medium armor.

Zorai light looks great on tryker girls at least :-)

hi there ..
I take it you're talking about the BM guilds website..
have you tried both the skirt and trousers version to see what looks best?
No matter anyway as you can wear any races armour you like! :D ... as long as you can get someone to make it for you or it is available at the merchants..

I would strongly discorage you from using magic with HA as it incurs Malus (penalties) and you will quickly find yourself with no hp or sap left.. also i think it increases the chances of spells failing.

p.s make yourself a sig or include your ingame name in posts :D

If you need any help give me a tell ingame i'm sure i could show you around or point you in the direction of some decent armour. ;)

I'm not a fan of the light zorai armour myself, but that'sjust me. I don't don't like my butt crack showing :)

I wear Zorai medium for combat casting and it works well. The malus is only a little more than light armour and you get additional HP and protection from it. Plus it looks alot better :D

Is that (even nominally) effective for a soloist trying to raise skill in the magic tree?

If you are getting hit alot yes. But I don't recommend leveling solo for anything but dig and craft...

Like others said, you can wear all races armors.
I normally put tryker LA armors for sale in Zorai a few times a week, mostly q50 to help the newer players, but might do higher q if that is needed ;)

Not surprisingly, Eppy is wearing exclusively Sxarlet-crafted Tryker armor he bought in Pyr two days ago. I am, apparently, destined to hand over all my hard-earned dappers to Sxarlet.

Best regards,
LOL!!!!

Sxarlet: the scrooge for all newbies!
(maybe i should write a book: swindling newbies for dummies)

tbh... I think it just shows how bad the market needs more crafters who sell on the merchants, instead just grind away their levels!
