Saturday 7th January - Team Gladiator

Greetings friends,

I am pleased to announce there shall be another gladiator event this Saturday in the Matis arena. We shall do two sessions at 8pm GMT (3pm EST) and 1am GMT (8pm EST).

This event shall be team gladiator, which is a 5v5 event. So please feel free to get a team together and come down to the arena for some fights and bets!

All 10 participants had a flag and both teams had problems. I would preferred a straight forward fight, but even if we had lost, I still would call it a fair battle as all of us were under the same restrictions. 3 of our team members couldn't heal, so we just went all out and took out Kye and Itsmagic. The other 3 were pretty easy to finish off. We did lose one member (Rawpure), as he was under heavy attack and could not be healed. Only Itsmagic focused on me and he was down pretty fast, being the first to approach.

That said, I bow to the Executioners, and offer them my congratulations for a bravely fought match, however short. Though it was still a Karavan vs. Kami fight, it was nice to take it to another venue.

rematch any time spiff, one on one or team, either way u wud lose, u won through a bug u used a different statergy to us and due to the bug we lost

I've told you many times, I welcome the challenge. I've also told you before that Ryzom is a team sport and your groups rarely use any teamwork. Rather than being nasty, how about just admit you were beaten and stop whining.

Actually doesn't matter if you have your pvp flag on. No one can heal in Matis arena, flag on or off. Its bugged. Same as Nexus.

Whatever it was, it was affecting both teams, so neither had the advantage. Executioner's strategy wasn't all that great. They came to us one at a time and died one by one. We grouped and attacked as a unit. All it took was a little logic.

Just trying to clear up any confusion on the pvp flag is all. I don't really understand why they'd hold it there, but hey not my cup of tea anyhow

I know it's gladiator but let's try to be nice
