I dont see much on the main site(I could be missing it.)

Is there someplace I can get a good overview of how the PvP, factions, zones etc. work.

Hi

To be able to participate in faction PvP, first you have to be pro-karavan or pro-kami (you have to do a rite to have allegiance; and the rite requires a fame of 30 with one of the factions; info here and here). Then you can activate your PvP tag, which will allow you to participate to faction PvP anywhere in the world, with other players who activated this tag too.

Another PvP is related to the outposts (and not faction). When an outpost is under attack, and you come nearby, you will have the choice to participate in the fight or not:
- if you choose not to, you'll be considered as 'neutral' towards the combat; and can wander around without being killed by the eventual attackers and defenders of the outpost
- if you choose a camp (attackers or defenders), you will then be part of the outpost PvP, as long as the combat isn't finished.

And last, there's the free PvP in the Prime Roots. Nothing to explain here: go there at your own risk, you may kill and be killed

There's also the arena near Yrkanis, which is free pvp; and last you can engage a duel with anyone consenting.
