I guess you are rihgt DoubleTap I do speak out of character.
Because in character I would do what the guild does. I am indeed an officer of the guild but by no means a high officer or a GL. My personal views may be heard and even counted but surely they do not reflect the guilds stance.

Still I think this move from AA does not have grounds enough and is rather ungentelmanly.

You should make it clear whether you are talking for yourself or your guild as you sig shows you to be an officer of a Karavan guild. There is no problem here, Karavaneers will meet this threat in support of their allies just as Infinity has. And afterwards the Stinga rum will be shared by all for defending their faction.
There is much good RP mixed in with the other mixed messages... make sure that folks know what you are talking about and for whom you speak. You have allies looking at you in wonder right now.
BoH has some good folks, as does AA... one serves each faction so we all support our side. It's fun and with Infinity there we are sure to at least be entertained by shirtless homins Hawks took some good RP wrong from what I am reading... Riv's demands were in character if you've read his posts in the past... I guess BoH don't get it and are going for sympathy... They are good folks and need none, they just got to show up and it appears they will.
Any guild siding with BoH should be considered enemy of all Karavaneers and must consider this... I know the Karavan guilds will be, lack of loyalty is hard to swallow.
IT'S A GAME... a game where the Trykers will remain confused, let's take the ones that chose a side under our wings and have fun. Until they can loot our bodies, it's all fun...
The neutrals are the true threat... Many we are unable to be countered as some of them use game mechanics to exploit the attack phase. Neither faction can do a thing because the CSR team has not made a stand and the dev's have not programed a way to give others a sporting chance.

So far i only heard RP from people trying to justify and use it as an excuse to do something that spoils someone else fun. This point of view is personal so I DONT ACCEPT RP toward my outpost. I consider it personal issue, I never called any kind of kami or kara powers and tried to stay the whole episode 2 passive. U are the ones who try to make me passionate kami...
Atm by attacking my outpost in 03:00am-05:00am my time i consider it personal offense cause i have work to do... Do u want to play? Play with someone else. Hawks are not aggressors. U are just ruining my fun which is too little left from this game anyway. Pssst go play elsewhere with people that plays like u... I Dont play like u and never will, but i am not the one who actively doing or searching for something, its all of u who call RP to came as a good disguise to make u have fun against other's fun.

Thats what i do and when i cant do i just apologize and done call RP to my defense. I am a man and I will remain this way even in game.

I still remember promises of guilds and persons that never kept it, and now i hear suddenly most of people calling RP philosophy to cover their actions. I am sorry it doesnt work. Do u want to be a friend or enemy? Thats your problem.

But the way i play i made it clear even for those who doesnt even know me. So do what u must do but face the consequences after cause u are attacking a person and guild who never were aggressors.

So really i dont care anymore about my outpost, if u think u can take it try it. But to be honest i never liked RP for these reasons... My only exception is for only one case that i happened to meet:

It's nothing personal, it's a game... when Infinity spoke to your defense, that invited other Karavaneers to aid our brethren. It's a little immature to try and make it personal, it's a game in which you have a resource of value to one faction. If you do not want to defend like the rest of us, surrender your outpost to another guild...

OMG, it's a game, and guess what there are more outposts than there are guilds. It doesn't matter if you are passionate Kamist, or just friendly with Kamists. The fact is some Trykers and a bunch of Karavaneers have a problem IN CHARACTER with a Kami outpost being in Tryker. The fact is you DID call for help. You posted the time and date that someone would be attacking you. No you did not call specific folks, but look at that a whole bunch of hardline Kamists are supporting you. HMMMM. Think they care about you? NO they care about having a Kami aligned outpost in a traditionally Karavan region, even moreso that it is a Level 250 outpost.

If you cannot handle this, relenquish your outpost, and go over in the corner and cry with your stuffed yubo.

The freaking system is designed so that there is an attack and a defense phase. It is totally fair to plan your attack/defense to the time that bests suits you. You can plan your defense when the AA folks are at work... Work with your allies the right way, and they will show up for you at 3:00am your time and 9PM their(your allies) time. Geez, you don't even have to show up to the attack, if you think you can muster a good enough defense at your choosing of time.

All I hear is you whining, if you really don't like it that much, go away cause I don't want to hear you cry. Who really cares why someone attacked your outpost at this point? A whole bunch of people are going to show up and have one hell of a bang up time, and unless something really unexpected happens, you will most likely not even have to defend.

Infinity attacked MoV as a test of the outposts. Unfortunately, our guild had few members who were able to participate in the ATS testing, so we had a 'fire drill' of sorts to check things out, as well as our own preparedness. We withdrew the attack after we learned what we needed to, and are now prepared to protect any Kami-aligned guild in the future. We do apologize for the lousy timing on the attack, (Christmas Eve ) however, we wanted to get the test outta the way as soon as possible.

Is there no limit to your arrogance?
Is our guild so unimportant, that you didn't even bother letting us know that this was a test?

It is very easy to look down from an outpost wall and criticize a guild on its behavior.

At the end of the day, no one will be hurt. Homins will respawn or heal. It is nothing more then a contest of skill. We are opposing teams. We each choose a side. That is all. A contest.

Completely in the spirit of Christmas it seems some people decided to do Episode 2 all over again.

Seems a lot of IC and OOC in this thread again (regulary in the same post too), a lot of twisting and turning, and people who hide behind roleplay, etc.
(I always thought General Forum was OOC, and Saga was IC, but i am probably wrong.)

For the involving Guilds there is no winning anymore, I think. Only losing, as AA seems to have lost a lot of respect by the way they played this, and their HOPE alliance does not seem to agree completely either.
BoH loses too, even if they keep the outpost, as their leader is being called 'whiner' and more. (which only shows how bad Noin knows Kenshiro, as it isnt a title that fits Kenshiro)

As the outpost are GvG best would be if only BoH and AA would fight it out, but i bet everybody will just laugh at that idea.
