Just starting

and wanted to come on here and say hi to everyone :) Came from EQ, WoW, then FFXI, kept getting bored and was about to just give up, and I came across Ryzom. In my few hours of play so far I have to say I think the game is absolutely amazing, and is just what I have been looking for. Using the 7 day trial, and it took me all of about 5 min to decide I was getting it. It's a shame that alot of people do not know about this game, because they are really missing out. Anyway, just wanted to come on here and say hi. Happy Holidays :)

Ryzom doesn't advertise in the US, virtually everyone I have met found it through mmorpg.com or through a friend.

Sticking with it could be very rewarding to you... but the joy of Ryzom imho is the long term commitment. You don't have to spend much time on any given day or week, but watching the story develop is something that is intended to take years.
