5 min Downtime

After a recent scouting mission into another mmorpg, would just like to say thanks for the short downtime and the promt explanation, exellent service .
Alot of people could learn from the quality of the info stream here and some of us dont appreciate the service we get which imo is second to none.

And to counter any risk of being flamed for a fanboi will just say Xavier would be nice if you could look at the ranged concerns people are voicing just as quick

meh, yeah.. ty for the sharp explanation.. they've been getting better recently, shame it isn't always that way.

What I wanna know is what happens with outposts when this sorta thing happens or even just a normal patch which we get told is going to happen the previous or same day.

Doesn't help much for planning..

Well if a downtime happens during a battle, and you lose the round because of it, it's tough.

Happened to DoA last night at the start of their attack. They lost the first 2 rounds due to the downtime. Submitted a ticket about it. I believe the reponse was something along the lines that there's nothing they can do about it.

Yeah - what I expected, it's all very lame but I don't suppose theres a way around it really..
