can someone help me on this matter?
Since we are new to this game we dont have actually choice to do anything but picking neutral at this point since we just dont have the fame to do anything else.
Question are
- Once you set neutral can you buy tp contracts again? Or still need to farm fame to use them again (as its only +8 / -8 now)
- What exactly does no access to high level porters mean? Thats the main question, so does that mean a lvl100+ zone or 150+ or 200+ or higher, couldnt find any info on that yet.
In reply to some who said neutrals shouldnt be able to port at all and said instead just walk youve no enemies i can just say you forget bout creatures - they still kill you on sight... Having no porters to me 50+ dig areas means i would need to give up playing cus i wouldnt be able to reach any place without being killed haha.
porters and neutrality
Re: porters and neutrality
- Undetermined can buy no tps whatsoever.
- Neutral can buy tps in major cities and in a lot of other places, bun not in all, not in the PR at any rate.
- Once you got into a civilization your range of buying tps increases and being part of a civilization doesn' mean pvp atm, just doing some missions (see the welcomer NPC at your capital city first, then others).
- Kara or Kami members have access to the tps in high end zones, this still doesn't mean necessarily you will have to be a pvp-er.

Re: porters and neutrality
neutral can have _some_ tp's in q50/q100/q150/q200 areas in all lands (some regions may not give tp's to neutrals, but usually one tp does).dlice wrote:Question are

q250 (requires kami/kara cult and 33 fame for your choosen cult) and pr (requires 60 fame in cult). Nexus is open for neutrals (or should be, have not visited them after patch)
fame/race/civil _should_ not matter.
atm, there is some rumors that some tp's are "broken" or "bugged".
Why quotes ? nobody knows for sure what are hidden requirements if any, therefore cant say for sure if they bugged or not

Re: porters and neutrality
really ? civilization determines what tp's exactly ? (curious)arfindel wrote:- Once you got into a civilization your range of buying tps increases..
as neutral, i cant get town tp's other than capitals (pyr/yrk/fh/zorai) and dyron/thesos (those 2 should be available for neutrals, have not tp'd there yet

FvF flag for neutrals is based guild cult choice (tried to nuke

Re: porters and neutrality
I remember a time when there were no teleporters at all. I did just fine by myself sneaking around, which is a skill you will learn well after playing for a while. By the time you get to a higher level you probably will have chosen which side you will be on, either based on reading the story, forums or simply because of the people you will meet and team with in game. In my opinion neutral players should not have access to teleporters at all. TPs are a service given to us by our Karavan/Kami friends and if you are neutral then why should they do this service for you. As I said, I know how long it takes to go through all of ATYS as do many others who have been playing since beta and fbt. We spent many hours roaming the living planet and it did no harm, only made us better at sneaking. You may also come to find that when you do dig at a higher level you will get killed by mobs quick solo because you will not travel in HP boost gear, but you will be in your focus boost gear. So my advice is choose a side, or get used to sneaking around. Karavan/Kami teleporters are a privledge given to us by our higher powers for being faithful and they are not, and should not be a right for all. Just because you choose a side doesn't mean you have to lose friends. It is a game and too many here take it personally. I am karavan so I kill Kami, but at the end of the day, I chat with my Kami friends whom I have killed and gotten killed by. Have fun for what the game is and dont turn it into your real life. Good Luck young homin, and may Jena be with you on all your travels.
