not really, i just don't understand it, but it seems a few guilds feel like they still function fine headless, so im looking for....enlightenment

We do have leaders, but we rotate.

In a lot of guilds the leader organises discussions and votes, then makes sure things are carried out. They are not necessarily the decision makers. Several of those guilds are the strongest ones.

Why have one leader when you can have many I think it is an aim at a les dictatorship stlye of play maybe a bit more laid back as such. It has its strengths and weaknesses i suppose.

Regradless of whether or not you have a GL you will have a "higher" HO than the other two., some people are born leaders and if you have one of tyhem in your HO list during the time that the GL is away that HO will "take control" - if that makes sense.

I think you can still be a guild reguardless of your GL status.... somtimes i think that if a guild had a group of "leaders" it could be a better guild. but in all honesty if a leader does somthing stupid s/he will know when s/he logs in the next day to find that the guild has dissappeared
