I eventually got a char setup today (click fest or what!) and after digging a bit in BB got him equipped for a lil trip and this is what I found. Tryker char neutral/neutral fame as is at creation.

TP's
Kami Fairhaven - OK
Karavan Fairhaven - OK
Karavan Cyrstabell - NO
Karavan Avendale - NO
Karavan Resting Water - NO
Karavan Fount - OK
(Trench of Trials)
Kami Min-Cho - NO
Kami Cities of Intuition - NO
Kami Haven of Purity - OK
Karavan Zora - OK
Kami Zora - OK (Welcomer is mislabelled as Cities of Intuition)
(Underspring)
Kami Dyron - OK
Kami Oflovaks - OK
Karavan Pyr - OK
Kami Pyr - OK
Karavan Thesos - OK
Kami Thesos - OK

Hidden source proving difficult to cross so no Matis details yet. TP's not on the list I didnt visit yet.

A bug?
I was travelling to Zora and was very surprised that I got attacked and killed by the Kami guards at the temple site. I'm supposed to be neutral and my fame was "as is" so not at a level for KOS. The various kami and karavan camps I visited on my lil journey treated me as neutral *shrug*. I didnt visit any other temple sites, will probably try that tomorrow once I get/test some Matis tp's.

From french patch notes:
• Il y a un bug connu sur les autels: un tiers ne fonctionne pas encore comme prévu. Par exemple, les kamistes peuvent acheter certains TPs Karavan, alors qu'ils ne le devraient pas

There is a known issue with altars: a third of them are not working as supposed. For example, Kami followers can get several KAravan TPs, and they shouldn't.

Don't draw conclusions, yet

That's how it is in-game. Neutrals get killed by both sides at the temple sites. I know from experience :p

Finally Fame will have some meaning. I welcome the changes though I know it will make Atys very different. I hope everybody tries it out on the ATS before it goes live or they could be very shocked when the changes finally get patched. I think we will see a lot more mounts around the place so the mount bug had better be fixed first.

I see Tryton opening a chain of Hertz mektoub rental stables all across Atys with steep rates for Kami and Karavan aligned homins.

Seriously, give us better access to packers and the loss of some of our teleport access will become a benefit as we travel through Atys a little more and give the Kami and Karavan lords less of our dapper. I'd like to see more stables in far flung places for reprovisioning and to allow mount and packer rental rather than just purchase. I'd love to be able to capture and train mektoubs and other herbies (would love a gnoof mount like Thomas suggested, and a ploderos packer that can carry far more bulk far more slowly than a mek :) ). I'd love to be able to feed my packers that superb cereal I foraged. I'd like to be able to make dapper by doing all these things too to provide the stables.

Copied from a post I made on a thread in our own forum,

"I know alot of Evo's dont agree with me but too me these fame changes make perfect logical sense.
They should have been in the game from the start and implimenting them now will cause more dissent and upheaval but tie in perfectly with the faction concept in the lore and history and fit with the semi tribal/early civilisation concept of Atys.
Cry has always been Tryker and proud with a nod to the karavan thats why he has never attended a Kami meeting, he also has only used Kami tps only in emergencies or on Guild events excepting EI where the need to develop his skills to benefit his freinds and people overide this.
Where you have two factions vying for influence and 4 semi-tribal nations it has been totally illogical to have free reign to go anywhere you want and do as you please and the fact that character development other than from a purely rp point of view will finally impact on the game is well and trully overdue.
I just really hope Ryzom can suvive another dose of fallout from this because long term i beleive they are finally sorting things out that matter to make the whole concept work properly.
I dont like cliches much but "you cant make an omlette without breaking eggs" springs to mind."

Also agree with what somone said earlier about the PR TP's, they are operated by the kami or karavan why should they be open to Nuetrals who dont at least pay lip service to either faction.

Somebody mentioned death penalty pacts, too. Will access to these be the same as teleport pacts? I presume so, but I think neutrals should have no access to these at all. Doesn't sound right for Jena to bless a neutral homin with a Divine Kiss.

I keep hearing how much the Karavan and Kami aligned players think that neutrals should not get x or y because they do nothing for these factions. I have some sympathy for this line of reasoning, though it would be better if the lore was more developed than it is to support the changes. I would point out however that this should properly apply to the Karavan and Kami too. I suggest that Kami and Karavan should only be able to get things including tps and the dp reduction services through the expenditure of honor points rather than dappers. This way only those that have actually done something will be rewarded. It seems to me that at the moment it leaves people with the option to do just enough to get enough fame to become aligned and then do nothing for their faction thereafter. Is that anymore right than neutrals being able to use the services?

I would feel much happier if it had never been said that neutrals would be a playable option. I would also feel happier if the material in the game information and lore sections were better written and gave some real reasons to support either side. Much of the style and content of what is written is to my mind is wrong in that it does not promote faith but disbelief. The overall impression I have been left with is that I am not to believe either side, and yet the game is progressively doing less and less to support this.

you right in RP point of view.

only neutral player left in game will be new chars and those who have left already.

all makes sence, everybody (kami/kara/neutral) loses something.
BUT only neutrals are forced to lvl 150 and below zones. Kami/Kara HAS easy access to 200/250 zones (in home land and pr anyway).
Neutrals DONT, they need to take time to travel there _EVERY SINGLE TIME WHEN THEY GET KILLED OR FILLED BAG_.
if you only play few hours per day you are forced to choose a side or quit.

Precisely why I suggest stables in far flung areas and mektoub rental. A fast mount may not be as quick or as safe as a teleport but it's far safer and quicker to ride than to run. Why not be able to nip to a stable after respawning in Natae, pick up a well fed mount, ride it out to a stable at, say, Sap Slaves in GoC and drop it off, spending dapper for feeding it up again and a little care and attention?

I love this idea even though I don't like the "reason" behind it. My mekky barely leaves the stables because it is such a pain to get her back home (she doesn't swim very well since the "accident"). The Kami and Karavan stance on not allowing pets in the transporter really reduce the usefulness of pets, IMHO.

Back on topic - I'll agree that citizens and those willing to accept the Kami or the Karavan as true disciples of their faith should be rewarded. Just don't agree that the use of teleporters should be that reward. In a previous release of "plans" teleporters were going to be priced upon fame. Put a little sign in front the teleporters "50% off for Karavaneers" and be done with it.
