- Game designers announce planned direction of new game
- When released the game does not go as planned, but in a somewhat different direction
- Many players who wanted the announced direction move on to other games
- Players who like the current direction spread word of the game and like-minded people come to play
- Game grows in unplanned direction for some time
- Game designers make changes to force game back to originally planned direction
- Players who joined because of the unplanned direction leave for new games
- Very few new players join because game is now an 'old' game with many gamers complaining about it
- Game closes

Working from a year-old plan without considering and adapting to what has happened during that year is a recipe for failure.

you know what ? (in rl) block all doors to your house and windows in first floor.
its not impossible to get in, you just need to climb the tree and jump thru second floor window. fun is'nt it ?

most karavan dont level jungle, "whats the point, waste of time" comes to mind.

make PR tickets cost 50k (dont think we could afford higher than 50k) for neutral players but dont take them away.
also dont offer "DP Tickets" from PR TP's to non factioned players.

I don't suppose I enjoy a few bears roaming in my apartment in real life either. We might as well take all aggro in the PR away to keep the players happy.

I see many player guessing about the high level TPs that will stop working for neutral player with the patch. So I patched my ATS installation yesterday and logged in so see if the game comes up and if I can try some of the new fame stuff.

Since I logged off in Avendale the last weekend I now remembered, that I forgot to make a teleporter pact with the Karavan in Avendale, so the first thing I tried to do is - yes you guess it right - I tried to buy the TP at the Karavan altar.

And again you guess right: As a neutral character I wasn't able to buy the TP in Avendale.

PR is neutral. PVP is enabled there as well. So if u make neutral people not being able to go there its cause u just want to force them in FVF.
Nevrax stop doing such things, this game is not only yours. Its ours as well.
So if i see PR with no access i can see many other new games around.
Simple and clear.

I agree with Kenshiro.
PR is neutral and owned by noone.
I dont think that making PR not accesible for neutrals will be a wise option for NEVRAX.
All i see from NEVRAX moves are that instead of trying to bring ppl they try to push them to leave.
If thats what they want all they have to do is to say it.
And if one unsubscibe isnt nothing for NEVRAX(as said to Neun) then more than 10 will do or more even better.
NEVRAX will be able to do whatever wants with the empty Atys and be payed by the mobs...

That's exactly the point. PR may be neutral and not owned, but the KAMI- and KARAVAN-Teleporters belong to someone and are controlled by someone. Namely the KAMIS and the KARAVANS. The PR are a valuable ressource. So why should the KAMIS and the KARAVANS give some people who *did not decide to follow them* access to these ressources by letting them use their teleporters, which they are running and controlling in one of the most dangerous regions of Atys?

First off, the Kami/Karavan teleporters are rarely in an actively aggro zone ... and in that case, why not just cut off all the teleporters for neutrals ? :) . It makes no sense for them to allow neutrals to get tickets to the Nexus minor but not to the Prime Roots, since both regions hold supreme mats and both regions are "of the most dangerous regions of Atys" (and yes, nexus is only up to Q200, but then, so are Lands of Umbra ... ).

but bears have been there from start and you used to it ;-)

if player has only worked on pr forage (lvl 200+ or 250 already) he/she has not much options but to "choose" to be kamist or karavaneer (depending what tp's are closer to forage spot).

if tp restrictions would have been in game from start, he/she would not had worked on pr forage if he/she was neutral.

also, there has been no word if packers get more bulk or not when they restrict tp's
make a little trek for 400 mats, dont think i can call it fun, especially when only pr forage can improve your craft.
(little trek as not from portal, but closest tp you have access to)

@those who say/think "You cant make everyone happy"
dont you think that excuse is getting old ?
ofcourse you cant make everyone happy if you dont even try
