Servers Issues
This last week-end, from Friday 2nd evening to today Monday 5th early in the morning, there was several crashes of the three live servers, making you unable to play or log into the game anymore until GMs opened access to the servers again.
On Sunday afternoon, from 4:30pm to 5pm (GMT+1, Paris time), we also got a login service crash, affecting all the live servers and the ATS. Players already in-game could continue playing, but those who wanted to log at that time couldn't and had to wait 30 minutes.
We found the cause of these crashes: the XP catalyzers. We worked hard to solve the issue as soon as possible, and we made it! We patched Arispotle around 6pm today (GMT+1), and will also patch Aniro and Leanon soon.
From now on, you cannot move active XP catalyzers from your bag to your mektoubs or apartment anymore. Non activated catalyzers remain movable (cf. release notes).

This just in from Nevrax:
Re: Update on recent Server Issues
I have never used the XP catalysers yet, so here's the question.
How can you tell active XP catalysers from the inactive ones? Do they glow? Make noise? Or does it just mean the stack of crystals you're currently using?

The ones that are active show up on your health bar (press 'h' to show).ncrijns wrote:I have never used the XP catalysers yet, so here's the question.

You can left click this new line to de-activate the catylisers.

The message shows I have 10 catalysers active which will work for skills up to level 200. Catalysers are activated by selecting them in your inventory and choosing "activate catalyser". Each catalyser gives 100 experience when being used up, by the way.
Re: Update on recent Server Issues
Doesn't this mean anyone on Aniro and Leanon can now crash the server at will after reading the cause?

So when only looking in your inventory there's no distinction between an activated stack and an inactivated one? I'm one of those people that gambles 50% wrong all the time so I'd move the activate stack (or try to) when they look exactly the same in your inventory.
I'd bet they disabled all the moving of the stacks untill patching the correct solution?kratos84 wrote: Doesn't this mean anyone on Aniro and Leanon can now crash the server at will after reading the cause?
