/slash commands and Macros?

Post by groovyy »

Hello,

I'm new and just getting started. I've looked in the manual and on the website for this info, but haven't found it.

Questions.

1. Where can I find a list of all the /slash commands? I found a few like /follow by just trying stuff.

2. Has anyone figured out how to make an assist macro that includes a /follow command so that if I try to assist and am out of range I follow the MOB? I did not see a follow command in the "actions" section.

3. Is there a way to switch to the chat input box with a keyboard command? Or is clicking on the box the only way?

Thanks for your help.

Don't know on 1 and 2, but for 3, you can just press "enter" to activate the chat input box.

I would also like to know if i can attach a message to my team with the macros. For example, when I pull a mob, can I send a team tell to allow them to know which mob I am pulling?

Also, I have figured out how to quickly target a certian player for heals, but this target an entity requires a key for each person. Is there a way to highlight members of my team without setting up a key for each one? Sorry, but i have crs (can't remember sh**) and I can not remember seeing any preset key strokes to highlight team members up to this time.

Am still learning and have much to learn.

Thanks

No, "enter" activates the last chat window you were using. He is talking about switching between multiple chat windows. I know that I have been resorting to mouseclick to set which chat window is the current default.

You can tab between multiple windows using - um - tab. As for switching between "region" and "around" in your main input field, I haven't yet found a way.

Click on the user tab and you can read all of the incoming messages from the various channels you are on. At the bottom there is a button that shows the default channel that you will talk to if you just type. Then to type to a different channel you can prefix your message with one of the following:

/gu - guild
/re - region
/say - around

Not sure if there are any others.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not ... but for heals in team. Just click on the user box in the team window .. Y by default I believe. I dont watch what else is going on while healing so having my mouse arrow beside the box and one hand on the keyboard on my heal commands I can switch the target in midheal.

The only drawback to this is if you key up 2 heals in a row on one target. You have to cast both before your new target will be healed.
