How about a goodbye forum

Its just a thought. I've seen it in other game forums. I think it would be nice to have a spot for people to post their goodbyes . Instead of searching the general or other forums to see if so and so left you could look there and maybe find something.

great idea, as most of my friends list seems to be leaving atm, it would be nice to say goodbye to each of them as i dont log in much and quite a few ppl have slipped away without a goodbye from me.

Given all the replies it would get from people, that's not likely that good an idea. People would stop looking at it cause its 20 pages long and there's no way to tell if it was someone going or someone replying.

Besides, all the goodbyes and the negative comments might put of some new players.

Some people would no doubt abuse the thread. Along with their goodbyes, would be their highly critical reasons for departure (along with the flaming that goes with it).

Easier to spread out the goodbyes so moderators can close/ delete threads that become offensive as necessary.

Yeah, I think so.. While some ppl may just say "It's been good but not for me anymore, I'm off" others will grumble.. More trouble than it's worth prolly.
