High level hunt skills (bit of a whiney post so be warned :P )

Post by enemy123 »

well recently as some of you know iv been trying to level up my dagger melee to 250, currently its come to a halt at 236. I would just like to say i dont mind the hours of grinding it takes, my problem is finding a team to actually get chance to use the skill.

yes, i know its a sucky low damage skill and i shouldve probbably gone for the hard hitting 2hand things but for the way i want to make my character daggers is kinda fitting to its development and also i would like to add that the same applies to all low or none damage skills too, afflictions being a prime example.

i guess what im trying to say is, i wish there was a better alternative for high lvl hunts, maybe new mobs that can give ok'ish xp but in teams of 3 or 4. because it can be very difficult to get a large team organised for plods or dai when you factor in population of the game, the time zones, wether or not those people want to hunt and of course the RL things that pop up :) and iv noticed that when a plod team is going once someone leaves, the team kinda dissolves pretty shortly after because either the speed goes ridiculous or healing stops.

well the main part of all this is, what do you guys think to high lvl hunts and have you any suggestions that may improve things?

im such a whiner :)

coming from a newbie thats lvling MAX 110 healing.. (all others are over 30 lvls under that) - my advice would be (besides the cheeze) to not worry about it - work on other skills - and whenever possible, work on your daggers.

i'd love to get lvl 100 fight.. i've been around lvl 80 for ages.. but i just never happen to find ppl that can lvl it with me cause i'm never on at the right times.. so instead - i work on other skills - either lower / higher lvls.. or solo.

then, when the conditions are just right - i go out and gain 5-10 lvls one day and i'm all set! :)

so newbie says.. STOP GRINDING! :) go enjoi life and roleply a bit.. if you find time to do some dagger-related fighting then great :) if not, how about you help some close friends get UP TO 230 with other skills so u can all go hunting togehter!

I feel your pain Nayr. Working OA over 200 is a pain and I hate plods. Getting the feeling that getting many more 250s will not be worth the frustration. Give us a L300 zone perhaps.

Najabs and Kincher in Void works well in small teams up to 220 or so.....as do 5* jugulas in GoC....at least up to the mid 230's. After that plods and Dai Den are basically it.
