The Round-trip of Atys!

Post by nillian »

OK. If you read my previous advertisement for a trip from the Desert to the Jungle, you may well be aware that my packer was murdered by a Kincher. This led to the demise of the trip, and ultimately a very upset Nillian. However, all is not lost! Speaking with Soma (danadita on the forum) we discussed setting up a trek to cover the whole of Atys, above-ground only (where possible). Now, the plan is to make pacts with every Kami and Karavan teleporter from every one of the four major lands in one day. I know, I know, it's an enormous task, and not one to be taken lightly.

Now, because of this, I thought it best if there was a 'core group' of Homins who wanted to do the entire trip (myself and Soma included) of preferrably no more than 9 (a full team). This group will take it upon themselves to travel to every TP above ground, and perhaps a few in the Roots as and when necessary. We are doing this primarily because not all of Atys is going to be easily traversable in the coming weeks/months, due to the Spires controlling territory by faction. This group will be more than willing to take other people on any part of the tour, depending on Homin needs. For example, if someone has no TPs in the Forest, we are willing to rendezvous with them at a particular point (say, Pyr) and take them with us as far as they wish to go, which in this case would be down to the Fleeting Garden or Heretic's Hovel.

With all that said, there is nothing left but to encourage people to apply within! With any luck, barring disaster, this trek will happen on Saturday the 26th of November. Given various time-zone differences, it would be quite nice if people could also add to their participation request the time(s) at which they will be available, in order for me to plan ahead as to when we can get the most people involved.

Many thanks for reading, and please do join us! It should be a day of fun for all. I hasten to add that this trek is not going to be deadly serious and painstaking, but is aiming to be a good laugh, and fairly relaxed (as much as it can be given the task!)

I await your signatures :)

- Nillian

(OOC: PS, if you wish to be part of the core group, please say so, and also can you give us an idea of levels in melee/ele/heal depending on which you will be utilising on the trek. Thankyou!)

Wooow, cool, I really want to see all those distant land. Sometimes the desert isn't enough, a little variation would be nice ;)
I really would like to follow this treck trough Atys, for my 10pm GMT (I guess this is 11pm Paris/Brussels time) would be (almost) perfect! Not 100% sure I can join, if you need more space in team just ignore me, but I really would like to gather with this trip, I think a lvl 150 healer can come really usefull in such a treck through our beautiful planet!

Hope to see you guys then (contact me ingame if needed --> Ruhen)

(OOC: I'm a lvl 150 healer, and a Fyros male guy, I do have all the capital city's tp's though, so just say where to start and I'll try to be there)

Still a proud Defender of the Fyros!

I think that a nice long trip around Atys sounds like an excellent idea... ummm...

*glances over his shoulder and lowers his voice*

... Rashan's not coming, is he? 'Cause he's been grumpy lately. I think it's all that digging.

Oh, and can I bring my frippos? They're well trained... mostly... but Gamic keeps looking at them funny when we're at the hall, and I think she might do something to them if I leave them behind.

Hey I'd love to do another trek. I have tps and know some good paths, although my skills are somewhat weak. Its been years since i went thru Heretic's hovel. and in fact there are a few spawns i don't have yet. :)

If anyone needs any supplies just let me know ;)

If I am able, I'll come. Another hand is (almost) always useful.
