woot, Kitin...bring it on, bring it...slobbers over keyboards...

Heck, i want to log in to find us up to our eyeballs in Kitin, in the guildhalls, appartments, even little kitin in our packers lol

Even with the raids, there is still the element of competition...remember the nexus?

It's nice that we will get a PvE event soon and you are listening to the players, but I feel the Saga is dead. The story is not going any ware, all we get is, this is on hold because you don't like that where doing and we are reworking it. So much of the lore has been rewritten or pushed aside.
Some times you can listen too much, if you spend all you time listening and changing you will never finish anything. You have one group not happy now so you make changes then another group dose not like the new changes so you make more. When dose it stop?

Sorry I'm whining but the whining is getting to me.
I know your trying, keep up the hard work.

Wow, I so agree with this... because the lore has been so wishy washy, some have chosen to interpret it their own way and we pedal in place.

We are not going anyplace at all, skills capped... story capped... XP capped... Can we possibly dumb things down anymore ?

You want to make sure that we remain flexible enough to insure that, if it is your choice that no war breaks out, we can implement that player choice.
See, not everything is set in stone. Its always our choice. There is no right or wrong way, there is is jsut the way we choose.
Some of you really don’t like any scenario where PvP plays any part, period, end of story.
I don't think that's quite accurate. I think many would just be happy to have a choice or for events to not be wholely wrapped around pvp.

There's a fantastic story waiting to be tapped into there and all sorts that hasn't been explored yet.

What are the Kami and Karavan _really_ and why are they fighting? Who is Elias Tryton really and what's his true agenda? What is it that lies in the truly deep roots (that we haven't seen yet) that scares the Karavan so much? Is it really The Dragon? Are they all in form fitting suits because they're actually weird, subterranean homin that can't bear the sunlight?

There's the Kitin, we hear all sorts about their behaviour and intelligence in the lore, but thus far they don't act like it, shouldn't they be bringing materials and kills back to the hive/stock? Responding to our behaviour somehow? There's plenty to find out there.

War isn't necessarily inevitable and there can still be limited conflict in other, meaningful ways for those who like it, its already being implemented.

There's a whole world of other, greater, more subtle and interesting stories than 'krunk smash!'.

What aggrevates me the most is that it seems like the listening is coming way too late, at least about major game mechanic stuff like the PvP implementation.

I mean, based on all the feedback over the past year, they should have known full well that releasing a major event that was strictly PvP with nothing for non-PvP folks would not go over well at all and would be another fiasco similar to patch 1.

Its gonna come down to the playerbase essentially.

However, if they listened to the feedback before, maybe if the feedback is half and half, they will make the effort to implement both aspects, therefore adding what Nevrax would like in the game, and what players want to see in the game.

A few extra regions would help this. Both PvP and PvE, with higher levels to be gained, new mobs to be discovered. Therefore taking away the skill cap, and tribes of old can be discovered adding more storylines to the Saga. And being of ancient knowledge, reveal more about the history of the races and what they have discovered about the world.

Perhaps some of these tribes will not accept that new civilisations have began, and some will choose to be in conflict, leading to attacks on our current cities, or events where we attack their cities.

And in the PvP zones, and if such a war happens, perhaps Nevrax can implement the faction thing to those zones, allowing certain factions to control these new zones (but like i said, some of the zones, as it wont be fair on those who dont want to fight to not be allowed to explore new regions)

If they can do this, and provide an environment that expands the following..

Higher levels and new things to see for those old timers
PvP areas and a war based story for those who want it
PvE areas and a co-insiding story for those who want it
More ways to learn about the world, and the history.

..then it will be a fine path they are on. Cant deal in absolutes really, one choice or the other. Let it be a multiple answer. :)

What can I say but, Hurrah!!!

Have been looking at other mmorpg's, I dont want to leave the game, I enjoy this game, and when you have event they are outstanding!!! The Episode 2 did nothing for me, It was a little fun, but that aspect of the game is not what keeps me logging into Ryzom. Heres hoping that some things will stay the same, and that some new things will bring back players.

Thank you for hearing out the players concerns!! My hat is off you your for that. :)
