What is this "Divine Favour" that Thosholm speaks of? *has been away for a few days and is very confused*

When Olkern Lake was opened we were "rewarded" for our efforts with a sudden influx of building bricks. For example the Karavan temple in Fairhaven went from 3% complete to 10% complete. It's easy to jump to the conclusion that when the next zone is open, a similar reward will be given.

Aha... that explains the sudden jump in completion rates... thought everyone just went fanatical with digging this weekend :D . I'm prolly completely biased but did all temples get the same amount of boosting? The jump is really obvious in some temples... others seem to have just a steady progress?

The increase was in proportion to the amount already done. Depending on your point of view you could say yes or no to did everyone get the same boost. I guess Nevrax believe in the princple the gods help those that help themselves.

I think it was like a 100% boost. This of course can be very good or very bad. If a part is completed 50%, you get 100% as result, and vversa, if the part is completed 2% you'll get 4%. The difference is notable.

I may be wrong, but if this is bound to happen, we should have our best sages thinking on the best startegy to benefit from the best boost from our gods :)

wondering,

So.. "only the most advanced temples will benefit from the intervention by the powers"..............

Thats mroe or less saying that the zorai and tryker temples arent worth anything due to low population..

Im disappointed :(

This is what was said at the yrkanis/karavan 'event'
Karavan envoy shout :Loyal warriors and servants of Jena!
Karavan envoy shout :It is now my task to inform you that another source of the valuable material is nearly depleted.
Karavan envoy shout :You have done well homins, Jena looks upon you all with benevolent eyes. Be assured your sacrifices will be remarked and rewarded, when the temple of Jena is completed.
Karavan envoy shout :Every homin who has done well will be immortalized in her halls!
Karavan envoy shout :The building process is well down the line because of your strenuous efforts!
Karavan envoy shout :D espite the attempted disturbances of the Kami warriors, you defeated them and overcame all!
Karavan envoy shout :I am proud of you all as is the Goddess herself!
Karavan envoy shout :Again you have proved that false gods and demons grow pale when faced with the might of Jena and cannot withstand her light.
Karavan envoy shout :However, the time is running short, the gates to the Lakeland will not stay open for much longer.
Karavan envoy shout :There are precious few resources left in this region.
Karavan envoy shout :This is why you must not hesitate, honourable warriors of Jena!
Karavan envoy shout :Go and protect your precious harvesters who are able to gather the necessary means, so that Jena's light may shine over Atys!
Karavan envoy shout :The temples must be completed! We will not let them stop us! Together we will defeat the false beliefs and Jena will return to a free Atys!
Karavan envoy shout :Now go with the knowledge that the grace of Jena is with all who are harmed in the fight, and that you have nothing to fear despite the temptation of the demon Ma-Duk!
Karavan envoy shout :We hear the cries of mystified homins asking questions, now is the time for us to offer some enlightenment upon the holy quest you have been charged with.
Karavan envoy shout :We have heard many questions as we have watched you work dutifully towards the cause.
Karavan envoy shout :Now is the time for us to answer some of these questions that we have been solicited
Karavan envoy shout :"What will happen to the buildings? Some haven't a properly build root/pedestal and we can't find shell in the new region, can they be done though or will the sanctuary/temple collapse?"
Karavan envoy shout :Jena can compensate for a lack of construction materials, though this will be limited to but a few temples,
Karavan envoy shout :o nly the temples that have been most completed so far will benefit from the intervention of Jena.
Karavan envoy shout :Also the faithful ones have interest to work on the most completed temples
Karavan envoy shout :"Why do we need to fight the other faction, why can't we just work side-by-side?"
Karavan envoy shout :Jena and Ma-Duk fight against one another, your goal is not only to build temples but to build more than the Kami
Karavan envoy shout :"Why did we need to dig materials when Jena/Ma-Duk could simply boost them themselves?"
Karavan envoy shout :The temples will be a covenant between the Jena and all homins. For such a bond to work, each party must make an investment in it.
Karavan envoy shout :The homins do so by collecting resources and building the parts, and Jena do so by investing a share of their power in them.
Karavan envoy shout :"Why these aelius and olkern names?"
Karavan envoy shout :Aelius Dunes:
Karavan envoy shout :Aelius was a Fyros general of great reputation. He was in charge of training young Fyros recruits for the armies.
Karavan envoy shout :His favourite expression was “Sweating prevents bleeding”.
Karavan envoy shout :No training was too hard or intensive when it came to making the Fyros the best warriors of all of Atys, After years of vainly trying to change the Fyrosian traditions,
Karavan envoy shout :Aelius left his responsibilities in the Imperial Army so that he could devote himself to improving the training of the Fyros warriors.
Karavan envoy shout :Followed by a few of his friends, he went in search of a place in the desert which would be suitable to build a training base for the future warriors of Fyros.
Karavan envoy shout :After a long search he finally discovered a series of dunes surrounding a plains, and within a few months his training camp was completed.
Karavan envoy shout :D uring the years the Aelius Dunes saw an ever increasing number of Fyros who came there to enhance their combat skills.
Karavan envoy shout :The skill of its disciples brought Aelius great fame and eventually his program was adopted as the official training program which is still used today throughout the Fyros Empire.
Karavan envoy shout :Although the original training camp was destroyed in the Great Swarming, it’s ruins is rumoured to be located underneath the Kami encampment.
Karavan envoy shout :O lkern Lake:
Karavan envoy shout :O lkern was one of the best and most adventurous poets of the Trykers.
Karavan envoy shout :His exploits, whether real or imaginary, that he wrote of were very popular in his days.
Karavan envoy shout :Tales such as “Matis and the king of the Bodocs” enjoyed untold fame among all the homin peoples, though perhaps not among the Matis aristocracy themselves.
Karavan envoy shout :O lkern had chosen a peaceful place where he could compose his poems, an isolated lake. Upon this lake he had built a floating house, one of great beauty.
Karavan envoy shout :Unfortunately, Olkern’s house and indeed much of his writing has disappeared during the Great Swarming.
Karavan envoy shout :As you can see homins by keeping the faith in your deity you are making Atys a superior place.
Karavan envoy shout :By building the temples you have been aiding your deity and providing a place for Jena to focus their energy and love towards you,
Karavan envoy shout :And you shall be richly rewarded for your effort and devotion.
