You might as well complain if one side attacks with greater numbers than the other.

I learned how to cast fear on a kincher to launch it at the enemy in my "Advanced Tactical Warfare" class in Davae. Its part of the world. Use it.

The lakelands kinchers are such low level that I don't see the problem though also...

It's in very poor taste. And I want to make something clear -- it's human nature to get defensive over what I said. Well, don't. I'm not passing judgement. I'm just saying it's a cheesy, weak tactic.

The other side does it, and they win -- should you in that case? Sure! That's a far far better reason to drag aggro than the side that does it in the first place, as opposed to using real skill to win.

If you're using the environment excuse, you're either ignorant of the social points of playing MMORPGs, ignoring them in the hope that others won't realize, or just not mature enough to admit that you're using a cheesy tactic.

BOTH sides do this. I've seen multiple karavaners do it as well as Kamis. Both sides have done it, both are guilty. Claiming that only one side is doing it is ridiculous.

The GMs have pretty much told us that its part of AD and a valid tactic. Low maybe, but still 'legal'.

I knew it would not be long before someone thought I was BASHING. It is much more likely for me as a Karavan luver to see Kinchers coming to me, than being everywhere where someone can pull them onto others.

However, if you read, I said I have tried to disuade others from doing this, thus indicating that there must be some Karavan faithful who would do this also.

Stop taking everything personally. In the end, most think it is awful. Try to convince your allies it is UGLY.

I actually have a serious problem with the disabled death penalty for the deaths caused by mobs in Olkern Lake.

I'm now free to let myself killed by a pack of kinchers to inhibit that any PvPler gets honor points for killing me, since dead is dead for me.

The only reason I can imagine why they did this, is to compensate for the issues with the fear spell, and the fact, that the Karavan camp is again on the eastern side of the map.

Exactly... and all we can hope for is that BOTH sides will eventually begin to identify and 'educate' the sinners within their own ranks. Each side pointing the finger at the 'other' side never will stop this lame tactic from being abused.

Either that, or let's ALL agree to stop whinging about it when it does happen.

I disagree, even with the fear bug fixed, it would still be really annoying if you were in a large battle with the opposite side and suddenly a kincher attacks and kills you. Then your side looses and you can't get a res. It feels really unfair. Even more if an opponent deliberatly dragged the kinchers onto you. If they reinstate DP from kinchers, they have to turn on DP from being killed by other players too.

Besides, why would you want to let yourself get killed by a pack of kinchers rather than facing your opponent? Only reason I can think of is if you have no chance of winning, which either means you're too low to give them fame anyway, or you're in forage gear and in that case I'd say you have a right to deny that ganker his honor points :p
