Unable to connect to Ryzom

When I first started playing I had a few connection problems where every five minutes or so I'd loose connection. I fixed this by configuring my firewall on the router to let Ryzom through. Then after playing for about an hour it goes down again. I try to restart Ryzom and can't even get past the login screen. I get a connection error (code 1). Now I try to go to ryzom.com and can't do that either. I try to ping it and can't reach it either. So now I try getting a proxy and am able to reach the site to post this to see if someone has any idea what could have happened. I am thinking my ISP might've blocked Ryzom server's IP but I wouldn't see the reason as to why. If anyone has any idea on why this is happening or how to fix it please post. This makes me extremely sad. I hope the problem will be able to be fixed soon.

I am going to attempt to call my ISP tomorrow because a friend of mine (under the same ISP) can't reach the site either. So either my ISP is having problems or they blocked the Ryzom IP altogether. Hopefully it wasn't blocked, I don't see a reason why either, they don't block other games but you never know, ISPs tend to be evil.

We have seen a few players from the US having login issues tonight. Send your tracert/pingplot data to support-ee@ryzom.com and we will get it passed along to the network techs.

I seem to be able to connect now. I wonder if there was just a problem with my ISP. Hopefully this won't happen again.

The problem seems to have been with one of the compaines that supplies the backbone across the ocean.
