A warning to Hominists about E2

If you have any hope of a good ranking on the "Value Stele" for either yourself, or your guild, do NOT, under any circumstances, follow Tryton's advice.

You scores for achievements while Kami or Karavan alligned are tabulated separately, and are not added together under the "Total" tab on the Stele. You are on there twice, once for your Kami score, and once for your Karavan score.

Therefore, it is entirely possible for you to have a score placing you at less than 11th place at each site, for each faction, and of course under the total listing, even if your actions have merited you or your guild points sufficient to place you in the number one spot in the world, therefore rendering you ineligible for any rewards associated with high scores.

I have submitted this as a bug, have been informed that it was re-submitted as a suggestion, that your total world score should be your total world score, but, like many players, I have little faith that the suggestions or problems we encounter are taken seriously. They may well fix this, and retroactively, but don't count on it.

Well i think that your total is already your total. Fasinus changed faction and im sure that he kept his previous score on the statue thingy. Id check this if i was ingame

Aren' t rewards going to be dependant on honour points instead of on the points on the Steles? Or are those 2 separate things? Getting confused here.

Yes he kept his previous score, and I submitted that as a bug, because he is still listed as Karavan.
In my opinion he should have a second score for the Kami side

I understand the point of view, but it is dead wrong.

Hominists are not "switching sides", they are working for the side they always have been, for homins in general, not for some faceless "leader", in the only way they have been allowed to.

As far as the rest, if you have done work for the two factions that are allowed game rewards, Kami and Karavan, you have two separate score totals, one for Kami, and one for Karavan. Clicking on the Stele in a Kami camp will show you your Kami score, the one in a Karavan camp will show you your Karavan score. Under the "Total" part of the listings, one or the other, or both will be displayed, if you or your guild has a score in the top ten with either or both factions. However, the "Total" is not your total score, it is not the sum of your score.

When I logged off this morning, for example, I was ranked number 8 in the world for crafting, by my Kami score. However, my total score would have put me at 6 in the ranking. This means that if Hominists do what Tryton told them to do, and there are rewards for high score, they may well have a higher total score than anyone else in the world, but not have a score high enough to show up under "Total","Faction","Site", nor "Acte" at any of the Steles, thus being the best, but with no reward.

Though this is obviously counter to any form of fair-play, and the developers are aware of it, I do not really expect it to be changed, nor retroactively fixed so that your score under Kami or lower tabs shows your Kami score at Kami Steles, your score under Karavan or lower tabs shows your Karavan score at Karavan Steles, but your score under the "Total" tab shows your total. That is why I have placed this public warning, so that others do not waste valuable time as I did.

Not so - at least on the harvest portion the points on the steele are the "Number of mats you have dug". I'm not sure how they work for the other things, but it doesn't matter how many honor points you get for 100 mats to the steele - since it's still 100 mats

It does take a while to update after you have handed in mats though

Points at Stelle comes in straight way from ur personal "Honor Points" at "p"

Just divide ur HoPos by 30 and u will get points at Stelle (I'm sure about fighting points not sure about harvesting)
