Without going on a rant with something that bothers me and our guild quite a bit, we'd like some tweaks to how the current system is working.
Melinoe is doing well in support of Jena and the top Karavan aligned guild in harvesting currently. The problem is that we do not have access to the mats we dig and are not able to maintain guild investments on the crafting side. We can have a crafter at the site for drops, and get only a portion of the mats we acquired because a few homins have chosen to camp these sites and use everyones mats. This is not wrong per se., but not really cool when you see someone drop mats and take them immediately.
Sure they support Jena and our efforts to build this temple, BUT, we would like the ability to support our own fame as well as Jena's needs. Some of the players leading the stats in crafting (Karavan) are camping and the larger guilds are digging their hearts out with limited ability to access to their materials to show Jena our willingness to serve.
How about a 2-6 hour period where mats are only craftable by your guild, then put out for general use ? I don't want to keep mats from anyone so much as have a chance to get full reward for the efforts our guild is doing to dig materials for Jena. This small window would allow a decent rotation in and out of the zone without having to drop 50 mats at a time and hurry to craft them before the campers use them like we are doing now.
Sounds good, but if you're going to make crafting take just as long as foraging and consume focus as well, the honour rewards from it should be increased too. IIRC turning in 100 q150 mats gives me 800 honor, crafting it up gives me 80.marct wrote:I think this could be helped by any or all of the following 4 things.
they already got honor points for the mats, so why even more?enemy123 wrote:why not give a small percentage of points to the guild that the mats used came from.
