Episode 2 Hotfix on Thursday, October 27th

Nevrax will be releasing a patch tomorrow morning, intended to fix a couple Episode 2-related issues:

Still in the process of tuning Episode 2, we will apply another
corrective patch tomorrow. As a result, the shards will be closed from
10am to 2pm (Paris time, GMT+2) on Thursday.

This patch will correct the camp guards' behavior (the guards around
your civilization faction temple will now respawn when killed) and add
several faction chat channels for the duration of Episode 2:

- one additional chat per faction where you will be able to chat freely
with your faction mates;
- one additional chat per faction where you will get information from
the event team but won't be able to intervene;
- one additional chat, shared with everyone, where you will get
information from the event team but won't be able to intervene.

Only the last one is always visible, the two first are displayed as soon
as you enter PvP zones (but don't disappear afterwards until you log
off.

Also, remember you can still comment on EP2 in this feedback thread
or directly by email to xavier@nevrax.com.

Too bad I don't see anything about the Fear bug though.....

How about the kinchers? Despite last week's patch they still respawn after only a few minutes, definitely not every 10-15 minutes like was announced.

Which I wouldn't mind so much if not for that other problem, that casting fear on them makes them run eastwards 95% of the time. The Kamists can effectively fear them onto the Karavaneers, while the Karavaneers can effectively fear them onto their own healers.

EDIT: Though guards respawning and faction chat are a good thing ofcourse, don't want to sound all negative here :)

You are lucky, you witnessed that 5% :)

I never said that the remaining 5% ran westward. 99% of that 5% ran southward :p
But yes, I think I saw a total of one kincher run westward.

Especially an Ep. 2 that now already has needed two fixes...

That is right Nevrax, keep working to appeal towards that extreme minority of your original customers :p

The hotfixes are good, but Nevrax silence on the issues that are making people quit in numbers are what we need to hear about.

The patch 1 response didn't work then, and won't work with this.
