A public apology

This will quite possibly my last post. The original post that was so offensive to some or all or could have been offensive to anyone I apologize. Being from the US and getting the political correctness from all sides, (so as not to get sued) I should have been more sensitive in the selection of the ribbon as a display of my sadness.

I narrowly avoiding being blown up in the London bombings and I don't really appreciate it being used to demonstrate people's feelings about a game. It was an (honest I hope) mistake to use it in the first place or any similar real world symbol. Please just use grimjim's one and be done with it.)

Also in all the examples of the black ribbon I can’t remember any mention of 9-11 in the reason for not using a black ribbon. It really did happen. I know it looked like it came out of a Hollywood movie, but it was real, it did happen 2,752 people lost their lives in that, and I have my own stories to tell about that.

Boinged I also apologize for your harrowing experience. Someday perhaps you would care to share with me how narrowly? In private. And I will share mine.

Apology accepted. It was a simple mistake to make and the important thing is the symbol has been changed. I was more upset that things seemed to be getting a bit out of hand and people needed to know this is an issue for some of us.

P.S. I know you didn't do this deliberately, please don't get upset over this.
