Another question, no doubt wont get an answer

Post by scarazi »

This whole thing has lacked official questions and answers sessions, little or no official feedback from the Nevrax team in days, CSR are being cornered into supplying unofficial answers which isnt fair on them, many thread in the forum the last few days have demonstated this.

so heres my question, as i see no other place to ask :( :

how long were these these wars meant to last? dont get me wrong, not afraid of a little hard work, ive seen many calculations on the forums, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months. I realise that this is more than event, but part of long term story involving "content". 4 days into the event, i see from the cronicles site that the most completed temple is 2% (lets round it up to 3%)

so 100% / 3% = 33.3 4 days x 33.3 = 133 days

Note that this is only for the first stage.
The building of the temple comprises of 3 stages (prolly across 3 different "old"-lands)

so 133 days x 3 stages = 399 days

is this temple build really meant to take over a year to complete? :o
not to mention depreciation depreciation of the amount of harvests crafts due to the fact that they will be bored after 3 weeks and seeing next to no progress. (wont mention the second temple in the land that also needs work on also ;) )

anyway, thats my question,

ps. i know you guys are fed up with the comparisons with patch 1, but, not everyone was driven off by patch 1, some were driven off by the week long silence afterwards ;)

Guess this bit of the war ends with Ep 3 + outpost introduction. The build rates i guess are meant to satisfy if there was universall digging, be embaressing if a few week long project (event) were built in 1 week (from an event point of view). The patch of E2 does say 'zones' so this is just the 1st terrain, perhaps the materials of the other terrain show greater productivity (or adjustment to the build rates in regard to the actual player production as last patch did).

It looks like the Fyros temple is roughly 10% done (assuming equal materials for each of the parts). The other two servers are farther along than Arispotle. I will guess 6 weeks to finish one. Hmmm, maybe we should have a betting pool for when and which one is completed first?

Well, one real life year is 4 Atys years if I recall correctly. How long did it take humans in ancient times to build their huge cathedrals and other grand religious buildings? 4 years isn't all that long :)

Though seriously, it would go a lot faster if more people would harvest instead of killing harvesters.

1 year of Jena (JY for Jena Year) = 2 real-time months
